YES!!!
Yes please
Yes please. Question. How do I get good motion to my work that I want to add animation to. So far it’s been a hit or miss.
@@MrSnipesWiNNiN do you want to like add more motion bro?
@@Speedster_guy exactly
The most complete, clear and no-waste-of-time tutorial I’ve ever seen. Keep going, and extend our AI knowledge, thank you!
Thanks, I hope these prompt ideas help you out!
This was terrific, like a course in animation. I'm really excited about Pika and can't wait to try out all the experiments you suggested. Great job!
Thanks! It was fun to experiment with all the different possibilities in Pika, I hope this gives you some inspiration.

This is a most excellent video. Lots of helpful tips. I lost so much work for my comic series when my computer crashed. But this video and Pika makes me want to get going again. Thanks a bunch
It sucks that you lost your comic series, that's sounds awful. Hopefully this can help you get started quickly again.
super informative
Really great tutorial, thanks a lot. Learned a lot and I even wrote down a detailed not, haha~!
That's great. I know this covered a lot of info, there's a free pdf guide I made here if that helps: taoprompts.gumroad.com/l/pikaanimationstyles
Bro once again an absolute fantastic video. If u continue like that you will have a big UA-cam channel 🎉
Thank you! I got a lot of videos coming up.
bru thank u l was loooking for this

thanks man
You're welcome!
Thank yoooooou!
Happy to help!
Its was nice to see the explanation, keep it up🎉❤😅🙏🙏👍👍
Thank you! I hope this was helpful for your videos.
Holy Animoley, Batman! I made several films with dolls in a Tarantino style and lost the tapes. Maybe I will be able to recreate with Pika! Great demo, Tao! Happy New Year!
Happy New Year Giri! I found with the Tarantino style it likes to generate a lot of fast motion that can become blurry, so you'd probably need to turn the motion down or prompt for less motion in the frames.
@@taoprompts Excellent tip! Thanks!
you are the best

First of all Great Video Again , you never disappoint!! It’s Clear that you put a lot of time and effort in your Videos!!
On a scale of 1 to 10, how likely do you think it is to create a consistently awesome and visually striking Pixar or cartoon-style 3 to 5-minute movie with Pika 1.0?
Thanks I appreciate that.
I would say if you want consistency between your shots (consistent characters and backgrounds) you probably need to use an Ai Image generator first and then use Pika's Image-to-Video. I have to test out the Image-to-Video function out to see how much motion they can generate, but based on what I've seen I'd say like an 7.
If you just want a compilation of really nice looking shots, Pika can do that for sure 100%.
Would ❤ a PDF file, would be extremely useful :) thanks for the tips, liked and subscribed
Thanks for subbing, I'm working on the pdf 👍
pdf is out now, link in the pinned comment!
thank you . that helps a lot, also what about image to video and prompting?
Glad to help! I will do some more testing on image to video and make another tutorial on that soon.
Essa IA aí é pika hein
sim, está cada vez melhor
Hey there, I firstly I loved the video tutorial! Thanks so much for that! Keep up the good work. Question...whenever I do the image to video on Pika 1.0 for some reason the camera always wants to zoom in, I keep trying different negative prompts to get it to stop but nothing seems to work. Would you know how to stop that from happening? Would there be a certain type of negative prompt to put in to prevent it from automatically zooming into the subject? The regular pika does do that. Thanks
Does it help you try putting words like "camera zoom, camera motion" in the negative prompt?
Yeah I've tried "camera movement, camera zoon, camera motion, moving background" nothing seems to work with that@@taoprompts
It does seem like Pika want's to zoom in on some types of images. The only way that seems to work is turning down the motion all the way to zero, but then it's hard to animate the videos.@@deldwaine
@@taoprompts Oh ok. I'll work with it. Thanks a lot 👍
Hi Tao, I have an issue with animating images on Pika Labs where the object is a human with a transparent background. Pika Labs always automatically adds a messy mix of white and black background. Do you have a solution to keep the resulting video transparent?
Hey, I haven't tried anything like that myself. In the training data, it's probably rare to have a video of a person with a transparent background so I think it'll be hard to get that to work when running the Ai.
Thank you for the response and your answer@@taoprompts
😱🙏🙏
It's like looking at a computers dream
It's really high quality now and it keeps getting better.
I have followed your tutorials but when using images as a reference but I cannot make the images have the movement that appears in your videos :(
Did you try turning up the motion parameter? Or using the camera motions tool. Those tend to help a lot
sir is there any prompt to show only show some speicfic parts of the body
ex - a boy and a girl handshake it generates full body of both , but i want just the scene of their handshaking ,camera angle should show only hands
Here's what worked for me. "closeup shot, man and woman handshake"
In the negative prompt you could also try adding: deform, blurry, distort, warp, ugly, head, body
thank you sir i will definitely try this i am learning through your videos alot
@@taoprompts
Can you maybe do a tutorial on topaz AI enhancer software and how to get it for free please 🙏🏻?
I don't know how to get that software to free, it's a paid service right? But I think other Ai platforms like Midjourney and Pika Labs are starting to develop their own upscalers now.
Is there a way to trigger that weird movement distortion look
I'm not sure what you mean, but it is hard to get specific movements from pika in it's current state. The best way to control is to use the motion control feature.
Thank you for this excellent guide for pika 1.0. It helped me a lot. However, there is one thing I am not very good at. The combination of midjourney and pika. Whenever I try to animate an image from midjourney in pika the result doesn't look good. The images in midjourney v6 look perfect and that's why it makes me angry that they always go so wrong in pika. Could you give a guide on how to use midjourney and pika together for best results. How to write promts for images so they don't mess up in pika. If you tried it and know how it works. Thank you.
I'm glad to know this was helpful. I will make some image-to-video guides in the future. Ai Video is still very new compared to images to it makes sense that it would not translate perfectly.
An alternative to Pika 1.0 is RunwayML, which does not produce as much motion as Pika but does a better job of maintaining the quality of images from my experience.
@@taoprompts Thank you for your reply. Yes I have tried Runway and I also think it is better for image to video. It doesn't ruin the quality of the image as much as the pika. But I think pika can do quite a bit from an image as well, we just have to figure out how to use it. I'll look forward to your image-to-video guide. I'll look forward to your other videos as well. I love your work. Thank you for that.
can you make a tutorial to make animated background
You mean you want more stuff moving in the background? I will take a more in depth look into Pika soon.
PDF file? Yes, please! 🎉
pdf is out now, link in the pinned comment!
I think you can have a discord community!
I will in the future! Right now I'm just focusing on my videos
reallly thank you bro true usefuull
Happy to help man!
I'm struggling with Octopus Videos 🤣🤣
It depends on what style of video you want to make, if you ask for a nature documentary with octopus or a 3d render that should work.
thaugt more of smoking octopus or timetraveling octopus xD but i think my imagination is to wild for the currentstand of technology :`D but ill try your tip
@@taoprompts
would be nice if i can get an octopus that crawls into the nose of a human :D but i think there isnt much training data of that kind xDDD
@@taoprompts
negative prompts: blurry, deform, distort, ugly, warp
That's just for the tutorial, you can add a lot of other ones like "oversaturated colors, shaky camera, lowres, disfigured" etc.
@@taoprompts hey thanks for the help :) was spending the last 3 1/2 hours to make an anime intro. so i made this note^^ maybe if you have time you can check it out, uploaded it a minute ago on my chanel :D thx again for the video, inspired me much!
Looking at you, makes me wonder if you are too AI generated.
I'm real lol, I just have a hard time not being robotic in front of a camera.
Pika not free anymore
I see they have a credit limit now. It would have been unsustainable for them from a cost perspective to keep the Ai Free, but now we'll have to do a more comprehensive comparison with Runway.
I would pay RUNWAY , PIKA IS good , but RUNWAY is sharper
