Thank you! Runway actually got a complete overhaul since I posted this, here's a video update ua-cam.com/video/zE0vJY3w8wQ/v-deo.html the new model has higher quality but less motion.
For most of the human motions, I just uploaded a reference image without any prompt and let the Ai do it's thing for most of them. Any prompts I used were super simple, like "a woman walking" or "a bear at a creek".
Yep, I agree with almost all your assessments. I asked for a refund from Runway - terrible results, censorship for no reason, way too expensive. Pika is very promising, I can't wait to see what they do in the future.
Thanks! This video is outdated unfortunately and Pika and Runway have both made huge upgrades. I have a complete guide for Pika 1.0 here which is the best free Ai video generator imo: ua-cam.com/video/F4vZTKOCeds/v-deo.html
Hello, Tao! What about the new Moonvalley neural network? It generates videos better than these two, but without the ability to generate from a reference photo yet.
I have a face image I’m attempting to zoom in on . Initially I can zoom in, i use the last frame method to zoom further in but it’s not working. Got any suggestions?
@@taoprompts Yeh, that's I use it for painterly works, especially for mid and distance shots. It's reasonable with backgrounds that have defined details like leaves on trees or furniture.
Runway Gen2 got a huge update! Here's a video summary of the new look Runway Ai Video Generator:

on point. great comparison and showcase of examples. just had to write and say much thanks for continuing to put out such content
Thank you, these videos are a lot of fun to make!
dude you read my mind. i wanted information on which was a better fit for me
Hope this was helpful, they're both still in the early stages but you can get nice results if you know what types of images to animate.
This is such a great breakdown. Love your use of graphics in the video too.

I really appreciate your videos. Thank you for all the work you are doing to save us from making mistakes.
You're welcome! I love making these videos, so it's good to know they're helpful.
Man thank you for your work. I need the prompt to make it amazing

Pika is great for being free, I'm waiting on a new update, hopefully it's a big one.
Yeah, I'm definitely using pika over runway right now.
Pika is better by FAR
I think you can do more with it atm also. And it's free.
AI video really it's ready. I can wait before using an paid plans.
This video is outdated, here's an updated tutorial for Pika labs that shows all it's newest features: ua-cam.com/video/F4vZTKOCeds/v-deo.html
Superb comparison! Thank you!

I’m loving Runway, but I prefer my images from midjourney
Using a dedicated Ai image generator to create photos for Ai video is a good way to get the highest quality results.

I haven't looked at that model yet, but I'll give it a go to see how it looks.

If you're using "-camera zoom in" in your prompt already
, you could also try "-motion 4" to increase the motion.
Very good video ! Is there any way to have very good video quality for this animations ?
Do you mean high resolution? In Runway there is an option to generate higher resolution videos up to HD.
I've found both don't really work well for paintings😭. Genmo is more promising and get that painterly movement I was looking for.
I haven't seen Genmo, I'll try it out though. Movement is hard to get for sure.
