Dave, I have probably watched 90% of your TK8 Fridays and have learned a tremendous amount. I was making abbreviated notes on my own but yours are so much better and help me when I try and go back and try and duplicate what you have done.

As always, you knock you to your knees with your knowledge and simplicity of transmitting it. In only 25 minutes you told the tele that there was no point in buying and reading books. And I will not mention the ideas. Greetings from Poland from the city of "Fortress Przemyśl". Ps. next Friday there will be beach volleyball of uniformed services so I will definitely be listening to TK Friday late.

Happiness is TK Friday! You are amazing. You ability to show creative ways of editing images with the TK plugin is absolutely inspirational. You always show me new tips and techniques. Plus I love you use the optimal tool for each task, sometimes a native Photoshop tool, sometimes a TK tool. I look forward to learning more from you. Thanks Dave!

Dave, the notes and the image really help me to learn and understand why and what I'm doing to edit my pictures. One note, what is also really helping is how you diagnose your pictures to see what it needs to be a better image. It's helping me look at how to edit my own images.

Hi Dave. This is a really good tutorial. It went over a lot of things you've covered before and that, at my age, is always a good review. The new things here will be put to use immediately. I've been using TK8 since it came out. I'm still learning new ways to use it and am still impressed at how useful it is. Tell Tony it's hard to imagine how to make it better, but I'm sure he's asking that question anyway.

Another great learning video. You have an amazing format backed up with notes. The TK8 panel is simply superb and intuitive. I think it's the one-click accessibility which sets it apart from other panels. The calculator and color grading tools are superb. The one in lightroom is I think undervalued. I downloaded the new Topaz photo Ai and it's another quantum leap in photo editing with its amazing speed and accuracy! Happy days! I'm in such a better place now to assess my photographs and tease out colors and refine their focal heart. I, like many others, pick up something new from you each week to refine my editing. I can't thank you and Tony Kuyper enough for your strenuous efforts to help the photographic community.

There was a Japanese school teacher who wanted to help his son improve his math grades in school. The father created "worksheets" that contained algebra exercises and the father tutored his son. You are doing the same thing with the wonderful PDFs you are creating. By the way, the young student was solving calculus problems in the sixth grade. I would like to see you continue creating the PDFs and eventually create a book for sale of "exercises" using TK8. Your notes on Photoshop are also helpful. Oh, why not create a development kit such that I can create my own PDFs for self-study? Excellent work, my friend.

    Hi Dave.
These are already old videos to you but not to me.
And since I still have a lot to learn about the TK8 panel, they are very valuable to me, friend.
Thank you for making these videos.
    Antoine.

    Hi Dave.
Congratulations for your videos. They are the best.
I've been using the TK panel for years and you make it really handy.
All your videos are of landscapes and it would be interesting to do something about studio portraits.
Portrait selections have to be very precise and the TK panel helps a lot when Photoshop's AI selection doesn't work well (especially on hair). I combine several local selections to arrive at the final subject selection. The calculator is essential.
Applying frequency separation and dodge and burn techniques is essential but very delicate so that the result is natural.
    Greetings from Seville

Yet another great video, which due to being away during the UK Bank Holiday, I have accessed rather late. Due to your expert guidance and innovative workflows the TX8 Panel is now becoming second nature. TX Friday is fantastic as it not only confirms techniques already learned but adds new and exciting methods to create great images. The PDF's are really appreciated. By the way, congratulations on a lovely image. I must start taking RAW images with my Samsung Galaxy S22+ - if settings allow.

Dave, thanks for two methods of applying a mask to a layer. I run into that often. Also thanks for your thoughts on Pro RAW. That wasn't available on my iPhone XR but will be on a future iPhone 14. And, your use of Make it Glow at the end of the workflow is quite different from my preferred SoftPop on most wildlife image, near the beginning of my workflow. This could be an interesting alternative for the right images. I appreciate having your notes for this!

Nice work Dave… I have been using the paint through a colour selection fill method you demonstrated a few weeks ago, with some great results. The biggest take away this week is the mask/feather in the layer itself. I reckon combining these methods will produce some great results…. Thank you🙋🏼‍♂️

Another fantastic edit. I continue to learn new tricks. Your PDF docs keep getting better. Thank you for this.
In step 7, you copied the mask to the layer above. This ends up creating a duplicate layer. I would suggest clipping the layer to the mask below. This would reduce the redundancy of the copied layer. Thoughts?

Wonderful TK8 Friday, Dave! A little tip (you probably know this) you can use the "Q" key to view your selection in red or any other color and paint in stuff you might have missed or added. Its very useful and sometimes under-rated tool.

Another great lesson, Dave. Thanks so much. Always love the calculator and the feather tip in this one was a great reminder, I've noticed that the Gigapixel AI action in my actions no longer works. You can still go to file, automate, etc, but the Gigapixel AI action gets an error message.

Hi Dave, thank you very much for this awesome tutorial. I photograph a lot with the iPhone 13 Pro Max in ProRaw. you can apply the linear profiles directly to ProRaw in LR or CR. It works very well with your usual workflow, Linear Profile -> Auto -> some adjustments -> diving deep to PS and TK8. There is no need of the LR camera app, give a try to ProCamera, fully manually settings and a choice of both ProRaw or Raw if you prefere the latter.
    Cheers Daniel, Berlin, Germany.
