I bought Double Steal on mistake like a rookie. Them I realized it was the same as Yakuza Missions. I meant to get Second Clash. You failed to mention that DroneZ is literally impossible to find physical copy😢😂
14:06 This is not true, that is actually an unreleased, almost finished prototype of what was SUPPOSED to be a North American release, which got canned, and later got leaked online in 2008. The Japanese release is indeed in Japanese.
The only games off the top of my head that were Japanese exclusive Original Xbox games that you missed were the medieval visual novel/dating sim called "Braveknight", and the games "Bistro Cupid" and "Bistro Cupid 2". Other than that, I think this video is actually the definitive list - because as you stated in this video, there's little information online about Japanese Original Xbox exclusives. ALTHOUGH "Braveknight" is not a Japanese exclusive because it also had a Korean version on the Original Xbox, so maybe that one doesn't count. Also, just thought I'd say I loved the video and wanted to leave a comment to help with the algorithm.
Eh, Wild Rings is fine. I don't remember how you get back into the ring when you're thrown out- I imagine there's a FAQ somewhere that explains it- but it's a better 3D Fire Pro Wrestling game than any of the official 3D Fire Pro Wrestling games. The translation patch helps.
Metal wolf chaos got an international release a few years back. Neighbors from Hell is not Japanese only. It released also in Europe. Demon Vector didn't release in Japan. Poop Fever is not Japanese exclusive it released also in Europe. Shimano Magi Tensei 9 plays in the Persona Universe. With The Wild Rings you should get a control handbook with it. Do to begin a quite nice Simulation of not only wrestling but a hand full of fighting styles including also Sumo, real wrestling (like the Olympic thing) aso.
Double Steal/Yakuza Mission/Runabout are some of my favorite games. Driving and smashing everything is good fun. The "puzzles" on Yakuza Mission where a nice challenge. Xbox version was graphically better than PS2 version. First I played was either on PS2 or Dreamcast..
Lots of great games and great memories... I always felt bad for non-bilinguals and hope future technology can play old generation games with auto generated subtitles...
Good stuff.. a handful of these games have English patches, and Metal Wolf Chaos got updated ports on Windows, PS4, Xbox One
