Never should have stopped booting up the 360. Xbox one and onwards was nothing but disappointing. Playing these old games again is a breath of fresh air.
I'm not sure if it qualifies as a hidden gem, but I had a blast playing South Park Let's Go Tower Defense on the X360 back in the day. Definitely one of my favorites from the Xbox Live Arcade .
A game that's kinda similar to Rez on the XBOX 360 is Child of Eden (it's a rythim shooter as well as Rez) it's kinda weird, but the music totally kicks asses
@@SecondOpinionGames1 if you like Rez you're not gonna be dissapointed with this one on the gameplay aspect, the cinematics are weird, but all of those colors that are in the gameplay are totally yum, very flashy indeed😎
Early 360 was a really special era. Many of those games felt more like peak Ps2 and Xbox, rather than the type of games that eventually would come out for the 360 ps3 generation.
I mean its a great console but lets not just go around making up lies here lol. The ps2 library stomps all over the 360 library in terms of size AND variety
Great video! I love the 360, and Blur was such an underrated game for it. Damnation was one I really wanted to like, but those aiming mechanics really hurt. Never heard anything good about the Star Trek game, but now I have to find it and play it! Singularity is another I would recommend that doesn't get brought up much. Really liked that game. Thanks again for all the great recommendations!
Damnation from the time Codemasters used to do other genres. It's no surprise they then decided to concentrate on racing games. Mini Ninjas which to me always sounded like a savoury snack was made by the guys behind Hitman iirc.
Two games I want to like are SH Homecoming and Neverdead, but I don't like the clunky controls. When you have to swing a blade with the thumbstick it just feels unintuitive
Did they mention Aces of the Galaxy yet? That's the game I bought for 5 dollars, returned it because I couldn't log in to my account, fixed the login problem, and discovered I can't ever rebuy it because the game was never withdrawn from my downloads list which would be piracy at this point to use, meaning I'm locked from legitimately using it now. But decenf game.
The Star Trek game plays like Resident Evil 5. So I really didn't have any super negative things to say outside of the partner's ai. I still had fun with it.
Your gamelist is so true, excellent choice, so much of xbox 360 games are actually more fun than what we are still playing today in 2024 ,it was the golden age ,these games had a true soul, now games are so beautiful but without soul like before 😔😔 thanks for this video ,what a great pleasure 👍🏻👍🏻
For the first 3 years of the console the 360 ran every game better. About half way through year 4 the ps3 started to get better. So maybe 15-20 games total run better on the ps3. Almost every game runs better on the 360.
My last 360 was in 2010 and i just find out that the servers and store are still online but all will be shut down in the mid of the year after freaking 18 years!!!!
The 59 cent game is good just tryed it out because of your list I only played the first one on the original Xbox. This one is better although the first one is also good. Thank you
Batman was over looked for the other Batman man games. And a bad game to one can easily be another’s favorite if they had the time to master the controls 😃
@@SecondOpinionGames1 i cant play first person games, they give me motion sickness.there is a part where im fighting some giant looking bear thing and i cant kill him.
Xbox 360s are for playing Culdcept Saga. Anything else is just a bonus. Actually, I've never understood all the love Under Defeat gets. I've had it since its Dreamcast launch, and it's a very dull shooter that for some reason keeps getting re-releases like it's a masterpiece. It may well be my least-favorite DC shooter.
Yikes, there are some absolute Stinkers in this list. Damnation is 2/10 on its best, non buggy day. Star Trek is one of the worst AAA games ever made and also gets a 2/10, the worst Ace Combat game by a distance 5/10 and Facebreaker, a really poor fighting game 3/10. Methinks the author does not know what a hidden gem is as half of these are fossilised Dino Dung. Gun, BotS, Vanquish, Blur and pretty much any Telltale game from this period are worth playing but, seriously, Damnation and Star Trek are AWFUL.
@@SecondOpinionGames1 I did. Unless someone has patched the hell out of it it remains a janky, clunky, joyless slog of a game, well until the bugs get you which was the third mission if memory serves, the one where, if you're playing solo, spock has to be elsewhere but just blunders into the scenery or falls off platforms. It is an irredeemably bad game and got the critical panning it deserved. You cannot review in a bubble, and the only big release game that springs to mind as bad in that era was DNForever. Otherwise you could call things like Quantum Theory a hidden gem and that gave you smallpox! Swap in Dark Sector, Wolfenstein, Eternal Sonata or Dark Void as they all had problems but were mechanically competent at least and had a little bit of innovation.
@@SecondOpinionGames1 Ace Combat was brilliant. Loved it going all arcadey in the close up battling, gave it an incredible cinematic feeling. For me much better than trying to shoot a dot from 3 miles away. But i can understand how "purists" (and I use that with a lot of disdain) would not appreciate that direction.
Ace Combat Assault Horizon is garbage and needs to be left to die on this generation. If you really knew what you were talking about here you’d have suggested Ace Combat 6 instead.
the "Rappers in video games" sub-genre needs to return. Def Jam was so good, and it seems like blood on the sand was overlooked.
360 never stops giving even in 2023
Very true 🙏. It’s like a good friend 😃
and 2024 either
and 2025 too! ^^
And beyond
Mini Ninjas is slept on, that game was very easy, yes, but very satisfying and charming af!
I was very surprised by how much I liked it 😃

one cool feature of vanquish is the cigarettes, you can throw them to divert fire of the enemy
Heck yeah. So awesome 😃

good list! hope you plan on continuing the XBLA series! was really digging that
I will. It’s hard because it requires lots of time for a 3 minute video 😃
Split Second is also another amazing racing game.
Literally played this last week for the first time. Very Burnout-esque.
Yes. That’s one of my favorite psp games. 😃

@@SecondOpinionGames1another vote for Singularity, just brilliant once it all kicks off.

Bionic Commando and Dark Void are easily one of the better hidden gems outhere

The OG Xbox 😃🙏
Condemned 2 bloodshot is another hidden gem that is stuck on 360
It has its moments 😃

I didn’t. But I’ll look into it 😃
Wow a "hidden gems" video with ACTUAL hidden gems! I'm going to check these out
Vanquish is an absolute gem. Absolutely recommend to anyone since Platinum always puts out bangers of games 👍
Very true 😀
Theres some rough games in this video. Glad blur got a nod as its great
I don’t know I had a good time with them.

Crackdown 2 is such a gem, best part is the game and its dlcs are free AND it unlock a extra skin in perfect dark multiplayer

ok now give sega saturn, atari jaguar hidden gems and break it down in 60 videos -_-
I will get around to it 😀
Is there a link to buy qubed??
I’m not really a salesman just a guy who loves games 😃
the 360 is still (in my opinion) the best console ever, there are plenty of games that I have yet to play and discover so thank you for this!
It’s definitely hi on my list. Up with the WiiU. Vectrex. And Dreamcast 😃
Batman Arkham City Imposters is the best multiplayer shooter of all time.
Hot take but mostly valid 😃

How did games like gears of wars look so good when it was only 7gbs
Quite easily. Many modern games are badly optimised and bloated.
True 🤔
Modern games the sound takes up crap tons of space.
Blur is amazing
One of my favorite racing games of all time especially with 4 player split screen
Active multiplayer too. Even on the 360 emulator.
I see the youtube algorithm was kind to you for once.
I hope they all will from here on. But I know they won’t 🤔
