I was at the grocery store last week when I saw this man peering at me through the shelves of the cereal aisle. When I approached him to ask why he was staring, he quickly and viciously struck me, telling me something about how I “should have castled sooner” so that I would be “safer in the endgame”. As I lay there on the ground next to my spilled Cheerios, I pleaded for my life and asked if he was going to kill me. It was then that he leaned in close, and whispered softly in my ear: “Not every attack has to end in checkmate.” He then ran off shouting something about initiative. Don’t support these guys
your building habits series took me from 300 to 800 elo! So thanks (might not be impressive to most, but I'll take it). looking forward to this series3
Hey Aman, I met you last week at the FIDE Candidates tournament and I mistakenly associated you with the Bird's Opening series. It's crazy because I've seen a bunch of your videos, and a bunch of Eric's videos, but I never knew you guys shared the same channel lol. No wonder I made the mistake hahah, keep up the awesome work my friend! You are absolutely chill
Aman, great video. I love all of yours and Eric's stuff. Have either of you tried the new Gen Martin bot? It seems to be really, really hard to beat. The only streamer I've seen try is Levy. I'd love to see videos of the brahs taking him down a notch or two.
I'm not gonna lie, Aman has got me doubting my choice of the Scandi as my go to weapon against 1. e4. He handles it so easily, You really have to be mega precise with it.
We kindly ask the one in charge of editing to inform the youtube guy on the tracks used in the video so he can list them on the description , some of the tracks are fire but 'un-shazamable' , and it's almost impossible to find them in the chessbrah spotify amongst the thousands of other tracks
Aman you should play once or twice the Qh5 opening for white. I never see anyone play it seriously but stockfish thinks its better than the scandi yet the scandi is so much more common.
The scandi is only iffy if your opponent knows a lot of theory and ideas. It's also easy to play. Qh5 is countered super easy on a human level. It's also only better because you have the advantage of going first. The scandi youre playing with black so you're already disadvantaged. Wayward Queen goes from slight advantage to decently worse. Your opponent will also be the one attacking you realistically.
Gotta lot of talk about 400s playing the scandi. They're doing it cause gotham has been going off using it. It's def got its place in chess even though you might not see it.
I'm upset that the copycat speedrun has never made it to themain channel. (It’s on the VOD channel at least). Some of the most fun and exciting games ever
this is bullshit there is no value in seeing how a GM busts these noobs that probably never played chess more than 5 times just play against 1200 at leasts this is just a cashgrab video
Nah, i'm less than 300 and it's really useful for me, but there is something i should point out, there are so many rerolls, makes it feel like "elo hell"...
starting speedruns at 40iq Elo shouldnt be a thing, its so boring to watch and nobody is learning anything since even Levys Viewers are probably 800+ rated, you can tell by the episode views which elos are more watched and I cant Imagine anyone above the rating of 800 enjoying this

This could be the starting lines of a great book!!!!
bro dropped the hardest quote then left
Turn this into a copypasta
What rubbish
Alternate title: Aman wrecks the Scandinavian for 40 mins.
When the thumbnail is that good, you just know the speedrun's gonna be epic
Was gonna say that lol and not disappointed, quality content yet again!
thumbnail is an actual picture
💯

First guy was an insane 300.

I love how you act like these people are purposefully playing openings
John Bartholomew has a lot to answer for
Scandi is defintely cause of levy's course now
They like the Skandy because they get their queen out early. They don’t expect it to get punished by players of similar inexperience.
Looking forward for this series
Fully mobilizing the army : Nope
Bringing all the boys to the party : Yep
Wow , as a 900 this made me rediscover the powers of the Scandi! Thx Aman!
Can you do a speedrun where you push h or a pawn all the way up in the beginning?

Can y’all’s get Eric to start a new series too!
Always love seeing Chessbrah crush the scandi 💪

That last Scandi game was hard to watch
funny. He's giving us Ben Finegold advice "always repeat" "never play f3" and its an attacking speedrun

Clash of clans thumbnail.
Got an ad for clash of clans.
Perfect.
not using firefox with ublock is cringe
I'm here to learn to attack and chew bubblegum, and y'all I'm all out of gum.
Duke! Where you been?
idk why the scandi is so popular at low levels, i guess its "queen go brrrrr" lol
Wtf stuck in a Scandinavian loop for most of the vid 😂
Sweeet. This oughta be a fun series.
I’m so excited for this.

Taimanov mentioned
13:23 never play f3
Has this been online somewhere already? like twitch? I guess I have seen this idea from Aman already somewhere
Best attack is a good defense 😂
yes gmaman! I'm very excited
I'm a ~2000-rated Lichess player, and I'd still rather lose than play F3.
32:32 aman shits his pants
Not sure what the key takeaways from this video are beyond “don’t play the Scandinavian.”
What did you all take away from this?
Great thumbnail

go Aman
I always get to end it with check mate
Wish I could find the song at 32:19
At 32:34 it that guy fart 😮😂
Nice speedrun! Can't wait to see higher rated players that do not blunder pieces for no reason.
Anyone know the track that starts at 32:10 mins?
Thank Gothemchess for the low elo scandy free rating points
I hope they are are 400,500 because they just started playing chess
You can't attack if you don't have an opening😊
He absolutely deserves to get mated here ah yes the 400 deserved to get mated for playing a bad move, by a gm.
WHAT HAPPENED TO THE EXPOS CAP?!
A attack is not a color an opening is an attack😊
good english
Bro, start at a thousand at LEAST! These scrubs just hang shit. Much love xx
LEZZ GOOOOO
I'm a simple man, Aman drops a video, I get happy
Never play f3
Where the taimanovvvv
It's done... he reached 2500
❤❤❤❤siuuuu
Wake up babe new chessbrah video just dropped
Kinda silly watching a GM crush 400s; mildly entertaining, but do we really learn anything from this?
You might not but triple digit elo players might benefit from seeing how to play into this stuff
i, as a 600 elo have def learned A LOT from these vids
The music on the background is disturbing, this would be better without it
Yeah this is better. Chessable speedrun is little boring
I'm upset that the copycat speedrun has never made it to themain channel. (It’s on the VOD channel at least). Some of the most fun and exciting games ever

nah as a beginner this stuff is useful af
