I have been following your channel for a while. I am currently on the hunt for a new chassis. I am torn between the ZX and the MD 1.0 rightnow. do you have input between their difference and potential? Thank you so much

Thank you for following! :) The YD-2 ZX is the final evolution and most refined YD-2 ever. The MD 1.0 is new territory in terms of tuning and potential but the early indications are showing high potential. The MD 1.0 is also quite a lot more money than the YD-2 ZX so if budget is key, go YD-2 ZX.

@@BadShoppe Thank you for your advice. I ended up getting a ZX and bought every possible upgrade. now it is more expensive than the MD 1.0 hahaha

@@russellmalig4164 I am now in the same situation, please tell me how do you like it? And do not tell me where you ordered the optional parts?

Thank you for your videos, I have been watching many trying to pick something out and I like what I see here. I would like to get into drift, I would just be doing it in parking lots and garages, because that is all I have to work with. I would like to get a Yokomo YD-2 of quality. I thought I was going to get some variation of the RX, but after watching this video, should I consider a ZX? I should add that I would like to purchase a Japanese RC brand chassis. TY!

Thank you for the kind words! The Yokomo YD2 is a great Japanese RC drift chassis that has many versions but the ZX is the current (and i think final) flagship model. You would be happy with the RX or the ZX i am sure as they are both very highly upgraded right out of the box and also carry some tuning concepts from the last year approx so there is lots of refinement on the RX and ZX. My only concern is scratching the beautiful chassis plates in parking lots etc but you can purchase chassis protector skin material to keep the scratches to a minimum. Best of luck with your decision! :)

@@BadShoppe Awesome! I have ordered a ZX, as I see many new and upcoming releases moving the motor to the mid position from the rear, so it seemed like a strong current design choice. On the thoughts of scratching the chassis plate, you have provided me a great idea, and I have always seen on the YD-2 that the suspension mounting points were reversible, so I would flip them so the ends are pointing towards the ground to give more ground clearance. I know this will also make more body roll, but I bet it will work good enough to have some fun! Thank you for sharing your knowledge!

Which one easy to set up and driving YD2 ZX, RX , SX3? I Plan to buy ZX but I saw the
chassis too much flex in my opinion. What do you think?

Between the ZX, RX and SX3 they are all very similar to setup and get running without much tinkering. The ZX's chassis flex works very well and for me it is the best out of box YD2 driving experience I have had since the very first YD2 Plus version released in 2016.
