I definitely do not have the patience to do the second phase like this. My whole strategy is to buff with high Faith Lightning Blade and burn him down as fast as possible. I've found the key to the fight for me is to get that second phase out of the way fast. Impressive work not taking a hit and using this weapon.
Yeah, phase 2 can be a real chore with a weak weapon. Lots of hp and not many good opportunities. Alternatively, an easy way to do it is to poison Ariandel and let him die on his own. :)
@@pumplepee I didn't know you could poison him. I have poisoned Gael on SunBro duty with a Poison infused Rotten Ghru Dagger so I could have poison damaging him while simultaneously attacking with another weapon before my thirsty hosts chug away all their estus.
@@AKSBSU You can poison many bosses, it works great with Gael, and it's particularly helpful with Halflight. I use the Storyteller's Staff to do it, you can use it even at SL1 if you pick up the Scholar's Ring in the Grand Archives.
