After The Burial, Born Of Osiris, and Veil of maya. Also Periphery. There are so many more bands for him to discover. I've been listening to After the burial since 2010.
@@thelastdaybreathinginetern1385 Phinehas, ABR, Counterparts, Knocked Loose, Every Time I Die, Beartooth, Stick To Your Guns, Norma Jean... Sigh there are far too many lol.
I love Architects, there's something special about this guys and this band in their songs, they really hit you in the feels man... Pleeease check out their songs and lyrics "Memento Mori" and "Gone with the wind"
100% agree man, they've almost made me cry once or twice lol their documentary Holy Ghost actually got me lmao that movie hit the feels so hard and after watching that, I love this band more than any band I've ever listened to. They're really something special
Agreed, I saw them live in London last year in jan, that gig felt like I was at home, the entire crowd pretty much broke down when Sam did about Tom’s passing....I’ll never forget that gig, Architects really are one of the best metal core bands in my mind without a doubt!
@@stlfan547 I believe it was year or two later, either way, They spoke about Tom in such a way that the whole crown just broke down with Sam, it was haunting and beautiful
This is one of the greatest reaction videos I have ever seen. This is EXACTLY how I want my non-metalhead friends to react to my music. The way that frown of approval just naturally appears on the face is so satisfying to see.
This is what I've been waiting to see. I like that you're enjoying what the metalcore genre has to offer. This band in particular is really popular with their powerful messages in their songs and continue to make some of the best music in the scene. I like this type of reactions.
you gotta react to Polaris - Lucid Architects - Gravedigger Shadow of Intent - The Heretic Prevails Knocked Loose - Mistakes Like Fractures Lorna Shore - King Ov Deception
One of the most incredible bands I’ve ever seen live. I was lucky enough to see them when they sold out Wembley, the emotion was incredible. Sam Carter’s voice is untouchable. Rest in peace Tom Searle❤️
Love this song glad he's reacting to it I suggested it in the comments on a few other videos but I'm not on patreon so I wasn't expecting to see it on the page but I'm glad he liked it
This song hits me hard every time, this band is amazing, the passion they put into their songs is incredible. I'm so happy someone recommend this song to you. It's so fire bro.
The meaning behind this song is even greater, its about their original guitarist and founding member Tom who passed away from cancer. The guy in focus of the video is the drummer, Tom's brother
We need more people out there like you who are willing to give things a shot. Your videos have helped me get through a couple really rough days. Thank you man. Keep up the great content!
4:34 - Thank you for your dedicated exploration. Much respect to you, sir. Brother by SAUL is amazing, especially the story behind it - check that out. Also, take a look at Beartooth next - their metalcore will blow your mind.
Love watching these. Rest in peace Tom. I had the honor of meeting them in Washington years ago before Tom passed. One of the best shows I've ever seen.
FINALLY!!!! been waiting so long for Architects!!! This was the first song I had ever heard from them and I immediately got goose bumps and was hooked. Since then, they've been my favorite band and they forever will be
I worked on Metaldays festival Slovenia last year and i only took one night off work because i heard all of them but i always wished to see them because i know them since 2011 and it felt like watching my best friend marry the love of their life. It was so beautiful i just sat there and had my head in my hands, smiling all the time and afterwards i got a pick from holy hell from a friend that worked the front lines for people surfing and redirecting. I will never forget how happy i was the next day when i so passionately explained how emotional they make me feel and what a purging experience it is just by observing their light show and Sam’s voice piercing your soul to the core. ❤️ forever favourite. You should react to their song dethroned. I think it’s from 2009. Much love from Slovenia!
Corey Taylor brought this channel to my attention and after seeing your reactions to some of my favourite artists and songs I have now subscribed! Loving your joy at experiencing this songs for the first time!
no matter what people say, keep it lit and keep expanding your music interests. love your reaction to this, hope you react to more (not just this band, but more in general)
Their guitarist passed away in 2016 and the band announced that they were going to keep writing music but will not release anything unless it was something that he would be proud of. Their former band member had a some songs partially written that they completed, this was one of them that they finished in honor of him and was released a year after his passing and the first they released since he died.
This song always hits hard right in the feelings. I lost my grandpa to cancer (he was basically like a father figure to me) and to be honest - you never recover from the pain of the loss. You just learn to live with it. This song is amazing and Architects are one of my favorite metalcore bands for a reason.
Their guitarist Tom Searle was battling cancer for 3 (?) years before he passed away. The riffs in this song were created by him, but his twin Dan, the rest of the band, their friend Josh and a bunch of other artists (I think Jordan Fish from BMTH) came together and finished it. It was the first song released after Tom's death, he was 28. In the video you can see Dan playing the role of Tom, and how Tom is becoming one with the universe. Slowly throughout the video, the members disintegrate into particles, essentially surrounding him. I'd say definitely go through Modern Misery, Royal Beggars and Hereafter from Holy Hell, but also check out the live version of Gone With The Wind from Alexandra Palace. It's really emotional.
I lost my bestfriend to suicide 2 days ago and this song and the band is getting me thru all of this heartache and grief I feel. I love you Nicolas Timothy Snyder. Forever in my heart, rock on buddy❤🤟😭😭
Gravedigger by them, and the Album it's from is written by the guitarist who died, from the perspective of someone knowing he was going to go soon. With that in mind, the lyrics are very powerful.
Whoever got this guy into metalcore, thank you.
Think he’d love some Djent too!
@@Solitarious no...nobody likes djent 😆😜
