I have watched UA-cam for several hours every day for many years, and I follow over 1,000 YT channels. These are my basic tips for new UA-camrs: 1. Have good audio. People will not watch videos that don't have good audio. 2. Good speaking voice. If you don't have that by yourself, consider using a synthetic voice. Synthetic voices are quite good these days. 3. Don't use irritating background music that drowns out speech. 4. Label the video correctly. Otherwise people can't find the video when they search for it. (I see so many poorly labeled YT videos, and predictably those get very few views). 5. Don't premiere a video that doesn't need a premiere. People will just mute that video because it clogs up their subscription feed.
Thanks for the video. 😊 It wouldn't work for me personally though. I have watched UA-cam for several hours every day for many years, and I follow over 1,000 YT channels. I know reasonably well what works and what doesn't. You need certain things to succeed on UA-cam, and I don't have them unfortunately. Many YT channels stay tiny and never go anywhere.
Correct. You could have expensive equipment and software does not mean people will subscribe to your channel takes content and topics that are of unique interest to the public. Your personality counts are you enthusiastic about the topic and content that will show right through your videos. Amazing people earning a living or serious cash to supplement their main gig.
Quality, advertising, content. Doing videos with other YTers with large subs counts as advertising too. Monitor the algorithms to see what gets subs to go up. Gotta find the people that like your content.

Been at this for 4yrs and the algorithm is not kind. There are 15y. o. channels with great content who still haven't reached 1k.
I tried to look at your YT channel, but I couldn't find it. Would you send me your link? My email address is: lou@over50tv.com. Thank you!
This^^^ The odds are not in your favor with the level of saturation on YT.

@Over50tv that's bull. All you have to do is click on the logo and it takes you right to the channel.
