I miss this band a lot.
If I ever win the lottery, I will fully support these guys making music and touring for us again
"chapel song" is one of my favorite song in last 7 years. and this live makes me cry. thx augustines
WOW. such a great band. REAL music with REAL lyrics. so rare these days. Im guttered I missed these guys live. Come to New Zealand Gents
Billy, Eric and Rob are the most passionate, committed, real musicians you will ever meet. They regard their fans as the 4th member of the band, spending time to talk and be with them after gigs and on social media. I have never met a band that surpasses their passion for real music, real life and love for what they do. Go and see and you will never have experienced a gig like it, feels like they are there for you. The fan base is a big friendly family too!
I'm completely new to this band. Why is everybody talking about 3 people when there are 4 playing music?
@@prottentogo the fourth member is someone who was there sometimes - sessions musician Panos- they considered him part of the band as they did their audience. They still work together despite splitting in Oct 18. William McCarthy is now an independent musician and Eric a producer. Rob still
Plays sometimes
with Bill on his new albums. X
He listened to my music and quoted my lyrics. Billy I'd a gen
I don’t understand how anyone can unlike this. Such an amazing performance.
Guitars and drum with a guy yelling incoherently a lot, and a discrepant trumpet bafflingly thrown in at the end. I unlike it quite a bit.
@@mrgakozakcompletely disagree.
@@mrgakozakYet, we have two of you in here. Amazing how much you hate them, right? Cheers, mate.
Just an amazing power trio. If they're truly coming to the end, I'm glad that I got to see them once. Their music has left a lasting impact on me, about the ideas of persistence and authenticity. Thanks for the music, gents.
amen.. Billy is truly a cool dude
Word
SERIOUSLY-. THEY MAKE ME VIBRATE. SPIRITUALLY.
I'm hoping to possibly catch Billy playing somewhere in the US. You are indeed fortunate to have seen them live. Cheers.
Just listening to KEXP radio online here in Killarney, Ireland and heard "Augustine"...my new favorite band...love McCarthy's sincerity and power!
Man, been a big fan of his since PELA... such a solid performer, always gives 110%!
PELA was amazing! So much fun live! Eric's as good a musician as I've EVER had the pleasure of knowing!
Same. I think I loved them from the very first song.
I could watch them every single day, such a beautiful and talented band.
Man, this is the second day where I just cannot get enough of this! So friggin' good! I love it!
so glad I got a chance to see them perform twice. I sincerely hope they're not giving up
ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! Can't wait to see them at Leeds Uni 23rd Oct 2016. For the last time :-(
Never got to see them unfortunately so thanks for the live stuff
Can't wait to see them again at the O2, I've seen them more than a handful of times and I will never get enough of their talent and everything that makes them so amazing on stage as artists/musicians and even their personalities as individuals. I simply love them !!!!!
Billy is literally melting on stage with the effort. Brilliant.
Missing these guys live...
This was a fantastic show..I felt so much emotionally it was very cathartic, and The Augustines were so powerful and talented! 👊💗
I'm actually jealous. Glad you got to hear them. Be well.

Cara, virei fã também...muito legal!
Amazing
Awesome
Best ones foreveeer.
Damn I love this band!!
lit!
Sad the band is no longer
very sad actually, even his early live shows sounds amazing (same songs ), but now !!!
maybe he doesn't give himself a break from live shows so that affect his voice.
I havent been this excited about a band since the first time I heard Future Islands!
That's funny you say that because while this set has been in the background, I thought for a second that it was Future Islands. Nevertheless, I like the passion behind the lead singer's voice.
sadly the band are disbanding, search for some of the live shows that have been uploaded, especially the Roundhouse videos. I've never seen a band with such passion and they are by far the best band i've witnessed live. Such a shame
@fr1skycat I just listened to their recorded albums and was so disappointed because the vocals are missing the energy in this video.
You should catch up with William McCarthy's solo tours. Energy in abundance (and he sings a lot of Augustines songs) :)
Quality sound is this recording.
Oh my 😮
The perfect 35 minute set.
Go buy the cd's ...!!
got the feel..
Cruel City is a fucking anthem. Don't @ me anything to the contrary.
vendrán alguna vez a Argentina?
They're really done touring?
rip
Headlong into the abyss……
Why now, add this music when it is masterpiece then. Is the Augustines going out of touch and away from music?
seth rogen on the trumpet
That's an amazing performance but what is Seth Rogen doing there, playing the trumpet?
I kid, I kid. But be honost...you can't unsee it now either.
All their songs sound the same, particularly the vocals. Also annoying is the singer not enunciating his words to the point that maybe 1 in 20 words are intelligible. I get that bands have their own "sound", but some bands write the same song over and over again, like these guys. Quite boring.
You clearly havent seen them live ;)
He was pretty ill when this was recorded. If you hadn't written them off you might have just experienced the solo live tour that I saw, where I can assure you every word was enunciated to perfection.
