  • Can selfies be considered art? In this mini-series, we turn this hotly-contested question on its head by asking humans of the Gallery to identify an artwork that best represents them! Take a peek into their fascinating lives through the lens of our National Collection.
In this episode, Safety Manager Alia gives us an exciting and exclusive introduction to her work at the Gallery, including new tasks she has taken on to grapple with COVID-19. Drawing reference from the geometric shapes and lines in Anthony Poon’s Black and White, she describes her work as the Gallery’s “safety net”. How does she uncover a personal connection this abstract painting?
