One thing i hate is how the team colors on certain things in the kill feed would be inverted. Like if an enemy mercy is rezing she’ll be blue or if somebody on your team falls/jumps off the map they’ll be red
I think that might be a bug
pretty sure that's a bug. sometimes zen discord orb shows up as blue through the wall as well, stuff like that.
The color for people in your team jumping off the map is correct, if that's how they're throwing

Beta thoughts: Loved: 5v5, ping system, fluidity of combat, most of the reworks. Hate: needs more new heroes (esp support). After playing 5v5 I'm not so sure they needed to banish 2CP i think it could have been a lot more tolerable with less tanks
Is it just me or could they have just fixed 2cp by creating a defending spawn point closer to the first point so it’s less attack sided and then push the main defending spawn point further back so the second point is less defense sided. I feel like that was the main issue with 2cp as if both teams had equidistant spawn points it would play out in a much more balanced manner.

Yeah I don’t think it should be removed but I also don’t think 2cp works well for OWL, I do really like hanamura and I don’t want to see it go.
Yea I’m a 2CP hater but in hindsight they should’ve waited for after the beta to test how it would play out in 5v5, especially since there isn’t stupid double shield anymore

What I loved about Ow2 is how it played and all the gun sounds, visuals and changes. The only thing I didn't really like was when you get hit by rein, your screen has a literal earthquake effect. Also I think it should be more clear when you are low hp. Other than that it's all pretty good
Your screen flashes red and your health is in the bottom left what else would you want?
@@jadedonyx3893 I get what he’s talking abt. sometimes you don’t notice the border of the screen turning red. some games give sound cue or screen discoloration or something other than the red screen bcs u don’t notice the red when the enemies are also red.

With Hanzo’s ability, I’ve noticed it can bounce of certain objects. Mostly seen it bounce off a street lamp
You talking about storm arrow? Thats how it works in Overwatch 1 as well
They buffed Storm Arrow in OW1 a couple months back. Now each arrow can ricochet once off walls/objects/etc

It's so nice seeing these streamers and such just having a fun good time again. OW2 really said hard CC belongs to tanks and a few others... let's make this game fun again
playing beta for these 3 weeks i completely forgot about whole map pool from ow1, so seeing rialto or hollywood feels like previous century

I personally loved the shift to 5v5. It was alot easier to keep track of the enemies and my teammates. Thanks to the orisa rework, it felt like everyone including her was more fun to play/play against. It definitely felt like hitscans became more powerful, but not overbearing. I kept finding myself playing hitscans(I mainly play projectile characters) like widow and soldier without feeling bored. Everything had more impact and felt more satisfying to play/use. characters didn't often feel inferior to other choices, abilities that felt useless at times in ow1 felt alot more impactful/useful(winston bubble, D.va micro missiles, and even venom mine. Ping system was super fun even though I forgot to use it sometimes. Felt nice not having to fear a 2cp map while in queue, as well. It was an absolute blast having mirror 1v1s in the games, as well. Buncha fun widow duels, genji duels, hanzo duels, etc. It's gonna be hard to go back to OW1 after all this.
The supports felt a little boring in comparison, not because of increased vulnerability to dives/dying more, but because the gameplay for them felt the same. Tanks got some reworks, new dps/dps reworks, but all support got was cooldown adjustments and the role passive. I'm not saying there should've been a new support, that might've been a little too much alongside all the other new stuff, but at least something that changed how it felt to play(no clue what because I'm not a game dev). I personally would've preferred if they had Deathmatch available alongside QP, but that's very minor. Was really hoping that at least 1 2cp map was gonna be revamped for push or KOTH for the beta, but hopefully they'll be brought back eventually.
1:30 Imagine being an idiot that you didn't realized Zenyatta kicked you 6 times to make you fall off the map and then say "fuck u" like it wasn't your slow ass reaction fault. God, some Overwatch players are really unique and creative of making a lot of stupid mistake like this one like fighting Tankfist player near an edge of a cliff and then calling him lucky when he managed to swipe 3 players at once, sure he was lucky that you didn't use your game-sense that fighting doomfist near a cliff is a big no no.
i like how on meteor strike theres like a little disorientation for enemies

I really don’t get why we should buy a new game that has the same format and almost all the same heroes, it honestly could just be a new update or a different comp system.
You won’t need to buy it for the pvp. It’s free for anyone who previously owns OW. Only thing you can buy is the pve (story) mode stuff.

I think the best way to do zens kick is to have his orbs charge up the knock back quick melee. Gives the player more reasons to help their team and in a sense forces them to.
