Dude trust me I've lived here my whole life you don't it's expensive for no reason this place got more meth than walter white like literally when I was 11 I walked to my local corner store and there was a dude shooting up on the corner in front of two cops this place is cool to visit but not for living
@@redfrojoe2602 I used to live there too. I would agree its a great place to visit and has some amazing views and things to see, but I don't know if I would want to live there again.
I live just outside of Crescent city and if you want to move to Crescent city I would recommend moving to either Hiouchi, Fort Dick, or Smith River. In my opinion Hiouchi is the best but the other 2 are still good.
Crescent City is one of our favorite places in Northern California! We've loved our visits there. Took our first lessons in surfing there as well. Between the beaches and the redwoods, my kids would rather go there than Disneyland. 👍
Once again, a very helpful video! I did my college internship up at the Del Norte County Parks and Recreation back in, well, lets just say, before the internet days lol! I did NONE of these things! I had no care in the world for the wonders of the outdoors. I just worked out, did my internship, and played softball. I definitely need to go back and explore.
Thank you! How cool :) I lived there too for about 20 years lol the area has so many beautiful things to see. We go visit often and I like to take video when we go :)
@@jenlopez8408 not in crescent city, but there are places you can get to like Medford, Oregon or Eureka, CA . Those places are close, approximately 20-30 minutes away

Where the seals are used to be the sportsman docks till the seals took over and the tsunami destroyed it. There's also point st George light house at the end of enderts beach rd.
It’s such a mix, everything you see from nature is gorgeous. As someone who grew up here, it’s someplace you realize who insignificant humans are. The longer I was there the more hermity I felt, but it’s truly amazing to visit. By the way, some of the trails by parkway drive have only been walked by locals and park rangers, I managed to see Blackbears, deer, large fish in the river, and elk all in one walk. Parkway drive, just before the connecting highways to brookings. Happy hiking 🥾 Also got myself terrified by a mountain lion.
Thank you!! It really is beautiful :) I love Parkway area and the Elk are so neat too! I would love to get out and explore some more trails in the redwoods.
@@askforadventure if your inclined there is a blueberry farm across the highway from the trail me and my friends used to sneak into. They offer blueberry picking, but we never ours back then😂😂😂
I am planning to trip to Crescent City with my Grandparents!! So I am looking for some things to do and adventure.. We are traveling from Yuba City Ca ❤😊❤😊❤
