I was stubborn for years and didn't want to give up my Microgels. I am glad that I decided to order this on the blind. I'm a 4.5 but on a good day, I can beat any open player. I've fallen in love with this racquet. It's solid, not too heavy, gives good spin and you can also flatten out the shots. I have to work on my serves because the stiffness on the MG is 57 while this is 65. Anyway, I'm about to buy me 3 more....
Probably too old for you to review, but I'd love to see you guys try the previous (2019 - Graphene 360) version. I really felt like they messed this version up, making it too chonky. But you guys are Glads so maybe not to you! Me, I'm a Gladito. If I ever change from it being my racquet of choice, I'll ship you one :)
Solid review guys! The racket I've been most impressed with lately is the Yonex Ezone 98 2022 with some lead in the hoop and a leather grip to maintain balance. Grisha I'm interested in hearing your thoughts on how that racket compares to your Gravity Pro in terms of control? I love your reviews on rackets, an interesting idea for future videos might be comparing rackets of a similar playstyle to one another!
Thanks! Well, my gravity is definitely a more control oriented frame. The Ezone is way more powerful. Adding weight to the hoop would probably make it way too powerful for me. So I'd have to put even more lead in the grip. Apart from the leather grip.
@@gladiatorstribe Thanks Grisha! I'm currently using the Prestige MP (red version, one before the latest) which I've found similar to the Gravity but it's not very forgiving. I like how stable the Ezone 98 felt even at its lower weight, but definitely a lot more power. For me a higher tension, leather grip, overgrip, and about 6 grams in the hoop felt solid. Did you guys get a chance to try different string setups with the Ezone? What do you usually change in a racket to make it more suited to your game? Thanks again!
How would you compare it to the Radical MP as an alternative to the Gravity Pro that I love on most shots but having trouble with it for my topspin OHBH? Thanks!
@@JTACTR Well I haven't played speed pro. But I have played the gravity tour which is also 100 head 18x20 like speed pro. With the gravity tour I often hit the net, but I have no problem at all with the radical mp. But I guess speed is more power oriented compared to gravity and may have a higher launch angle.
It's not clear to me how was the feel of the racket according with Areg? can you explain it?...hahaha..but to me when a tested this racket was like an aluminium racket..at least that was my "feel", but i'm not a good tester....
Was thinking about the Radical . So perfect 🥰. However , I play a topspin forehand and a one hander on backhand and want a racquet that is slightly control-oriented with a thinner beam . Leaning toward the Vcore Pro 310 or 320 ? Which one is better 🤔 ? A bit confused .... Or a blade or prostaff will be better ..... Will I take 310 and customize or directly for 320 anyway ....
I use a one handed backhand and currently have a vcore pro 97 18x20, which is a pretty hefty 320, although it is quite headlight, so it doesn't seem nearly as heavy as the numbers suggest, while also having enough weight to provide for some awesome stability, something a one hander really needs...as for the vcore pro vs blade vs prostaff, you honestly cant go wrong with any of these options, but the quality control of yonex is unmatched. hope this helped :)
Great vid guys! I'm so confused on the head lineup, I feel like some of their racquets blend into eachother. Specifically the speed/radical/prestige line. Could you cover the differences in a vid sometime?
Hey (g)lads a bit of topic but I'm really confused with the Head racket family. As racket connaseurs yourselves can you tell me which ones are most similar to the new Yonnex vCore95?
Honestly, they are a little confusing and some rackets from different ranges can be very similar to each other. Racket that would be the closest to the Vcore95. That's a very tough one. I wouldn't say there's a direct equivalent in Head's lineup. The Radical MP might be the closest one. Though still, Vcore's stability and feel is way better. Prestige wouldn't be it, because it's way too control oriented and lacking power compared to the Vcore 95. Extreme and Gravity lines are way different. Hope it helps 😂
Seems like a really good racket. I still bought two new ones of the XT graphine version of the racket. Mostly because I am already used to those and want already have 3 of those.
I sold my pure strike and back to my old customized vcore pro 97 until switching. Except it lacks everything, surprising it feels just ok in the present (not that bad) As you guys know(or not), I have a flatter groundstroke, decent serve, and ohb, need some help on forehand and volley, and I'm a short guy The current switching list is gravity tour, mp, ezone 100, or maybe 98. Any opinion would be fantastic! Thx
Those are pretty good options. I'd say if want flatter shots and more control, go for the Tour. If you want more power go for the Ezone. Better maneuverability with the 98 version as well as better stability, if you go for the Ezone.
I heard the new 100 is excellent, looking forward to your playtest before deciding. Both Ezone is not available here temporarily Going for Yonex is a safe option(I can't test racquet now), just struggling at 100 or 98
Thanks for this excellent video! Appreciate! I probably need to update my Radicals one of these days haha I've been messing around with the older ones but the higher SW of these does have me a little worried 😟 I'm not a spring chicken anymore!! Lol 😅
Thank you very much! Honestly this model of the Radical really didn't give me the vibe of a heavy swinging racket. Give it a try, maybe you'll like it!
Have you guys considered switching to any sticks? I know you two have definitely liked a few racquets enough to maybe switch. Plus, I know both of you guys have sticks they aren’t brand new, but not old by any means. A great video idea would be (when you’re ready) about switching to a new frame and the whole process. Or even trying some new equipment that you want to switch to or are in the market for (strings, shoes, grips, etc.)… Food for thought! Great video per usual!
Thank you very much! Appreciate your feetback as always! We're not planning to invest into new racket yet. Even though ours aren't the newest (especially mine 🤭) we're not ready to go for it yet.
*Everyone plays with Radical rackets in Spain.* 🤣🤣 Well you are not wrong! Love the honesty and non-tennis warehouse vibes haha! Appreciate all the great work and hard work, and wonderful review! When I was looking for a new racquet some time ago I definitely considered getting the Radical, mostly because of its looks! Looks on fire! But of course, as you guys know, I got the Clash! Anyway, this review is on fire and I love it!! Can't say this enough, but thanks for doing a rating score! It's so helpful! Keep it up! 🤩
ive always played with power frames. this channel and trying out my friends ezone makes me wanna try more control frames. I recently just got a 100x 18x20. (wouldve like to try blade v8 18x20 or grishas choice of racket) but for affordability atm it iss what it iss. Trying to do the impossible and follow grisha lmao. well see how that goes haha
Grish's joke about pros and amateurs, legit the firs time he's made me actually laugh irl. I never liked the colour of this one - I've always thought if you were going to go for a heavier, control oriented racquet - you might as well play with a VCore Pro or a RF Pro Staff.
Hi guys. I'm currently using the Head Extreme Tour. I feel like the racket is very close to perfect for me, but I sense some instability on off-center/fast shots, especially on volleys, that was unusual with my previous racket. That said, I was looking for a similar racket but with a little more weight (315g). Do you think this Radical Pro is the answer? Btw, Head Sonic Pro at 23KG? Don't know how you guys could play ahah
@@gladiatorstribe Yes, I was thinking about adding maybe at 3 & 9? (heard that's better for stability) But I like the current balance of the racket and that would't mess with it?
Why are you guys so slow on reviews. You guys are just getting to the Radical Pro in the year 2022? You should have also reviewed the the Head Speed Pro 2022, Technifibre 305 16x19, and many others.
Bruh chill, there are a lot of rackets out there and these guys don't get paid enough. Also they have a bunch of vids on their channel. Areg even said it's an old model at the start... they were probably focusing on the new models

Mp o pro ?? What is the best??
Great video and great editing at the start lol
Thank you for noticing 🥹🙌
Radical MP&PRO have a very DENSE 16x19 pattern. Much more similar to a 18x20. So have to disagree on this one w/ Glads. Love your videos!
Wide as in 16x19 not 18x20. Sorry if we didn't make it clear 😕
It is dense yes but still very different from 18x20. Try it side by side and you’ll see.
@@gladiatorstribe Well that's the point, it's not a wide 16x19 but a very tight 16x19:) Just look at the spacing between mains and crosses. Cheers.
@@fluffy_skye Similar to some openish 18x20's such as the Speed Pro. But it's very dense for sure for a 16x19!

what forehand grip do you guys use?
I'm convinced 90% of sales of this racket are purely due to its pain job
When the racket came out i considered buying it just for that 😂
90% percent of all rackets are bought for that reason. JK 😂😂
I nearly didn’t buy it because of the paint job 😂
It's not the newest racquet but you guys seem to have enjoyed the last Tecnifibre racquet so I'd love to see what you think of the TF-X1 300
We actually thought of reviewing it!
shoutout to how much areg's english has improved!
