Glock 23 Gen 3 Tabletop Review

This is my Glock 23 Gen 3. I picked it up in 2014 off J&G Sales. It was an unissued Police gun. Got a good deal on it. I use it sometimes for conceal and carry. It is chambered in .40 cal. It is used by an awful lot of police and is a reliable handgun. One of my favorites! Let me know what you think.

Picked up a gen3 Glock23 police tradein as well 2 yrs ago. I also own the gen4 version but I carry the gen3 because it never has failed me. Cant say that about my gen 4. Looks like you got the pick of the litter. Thanks

Never heard Mexican carry. Any way my landlord is a retired prison guard,and had the 23 for years and never fired it. Age took over and she wanted to get rid of it. So we traded my Taurus revolver in 38 for it . Lots better for her for snakes and and home defense. And I paid 100 at the pawn shop for the new over stock revolver. I don't like Glocks, and Haight them. But now I have 3. The 17 being one of them. I like the block style. And accurate shooting at 50 yards..

Nice review. Please be careful using that "trigger guard" option on a striker fired firearm.

I purchased a Glock 23 40 cal. Not realizing what generation it was ! UA-cam is my reference guide . It's a girl Gen 3 First name Dawn middle name Mary . Not disappointed at all came with 2 magazines 10 rounds each ! I purchased 2 mag's From KCI field tested them . 2 failure's to eject maybe a spring issue with one mag . Shot 95 rounds . She is a keeper. Fobus IWB awesome for conceal carry all day.Bass Pro Shop.$ 528.94 after $ 80.discount .Let me know if this with a great purchase..Great video Thank you Sir..

Nice! Is the recoil as bad as the Glock 26 though?

The Glock 26 is a 9mm while the Glock 23 is .40 cal, so the recoil of the 23 will be more.

I’m planning on getting a Springfield XD9 Subcompact and a Glock (19 OR 23). If I can’t handle the Glock 23 (meaning of I cannot be accurate with it and comfortable with it due to too much recoil), I’ll get the Glock 19.

187 Misfits Spade actually pulled the trigger. Just got my concealed permit and picked up a gen 3 glock 23 with two mags and night sites for $380. I LOVE this gun. I like it more than the 19
