Had something similar in the 80s. With the doors closed a cordless grinder will go through that in seconds like bike locks are removed. Or the lock will be picked. All these things do not prevent theft, they simply prolong the time it takes to get moving or deter opportunists. And at £200 it is more expensive than a tracker.
Best to have a tracker and a physical deterrent!
looks good, what about a review of your van?
Might just do that. Good plan!
£200 for that , good lord
Cordless grinder will have that off in 30 seconds.
The noise! A lot of thieves will look for an easier target
Does it bring down insurance?
Depends on your insurer. Read What Motorhome for a full report on insurance in the August issue
Really......
Just a different Krocklok seconds with a battery grinder and away
Maybe but visual deterrents will stop some thieves. Even Cat 1 alarms aren't burglar-proof
@@MotorhomeCampervan but an alarm makes a noise attracting attention
@@kevineast2079so people can take their phones out and film it like they do in central London when kids grind bike locks.
Looks like a Krooklock to me
But independently tested and approved by Sold Secure
isn't it pressing on the horn ?
No, it doesn't
In my experience those clutch to steering locks are a waste of time. There's too many vulnerable points on them. At £200 that's crazy...
It has Sold Secure accreditation. Worth a read of their website - www.soldsecure.com/about-us
I don't wish to appear negative but the thief(s) who will target such a vehicle won't be amateurs. Itl go away on a low loader or will be the result of a two in one burglary. It's better to prevent them actually getting at it. And that is far too expensive for what it is. And yes a cordless angle grinder will be through in ten seconds with a steel cutting disc. A disc lock ( steering wheel) would be more effective. An immobilizer and alarm with a tracker be better.
Best to have an alarm, tracker and physical security. Worth reading what insurance companies are saying in next month's What Motorhome magazine!
I'll pick that lock in 30 seconds 🤣
Really?

Dosklock for me. Only £150. Correct me if I am wrong but I don’t think an angle grinder is used in the Sold Secure Gold test. Does anyone know if that’s true.
The thieves know 😉
Hmm🤔. So its to help stop the van from being stolen? Stealing a van is usually associated with more professional thieves rather than opportunists. Professionals arent going to worry about about something that a battery angle grinder will be get through in about thirty seconds. I still maintain its better to stop thieves getting in in the first place. Id have said that if theyve managed to get inside your motorhome theyre not going to be bothered by that.

@@MotorhomeCampervan. I checked website . Gold Standard not tested by angle grinders. My battery angle grinder will be through it in seconds.
At least the carcass will be left after the crooks have stripped it of saleable items and parts.
It looks like one cut through the steering wheel rim and the lock can be easily removed.

Way too expensive. Most other reputable locks of similar design are 1/3 of that🤔
Do they have Sold Secure Gold standard?
Please have it reviewed by the lock picking lawyer. 💪

A bit exxy...
HOW MUCH??????? Somebody's pulled your pants down. Extortionate at half the price. Thief would have that off in seconds 😢😢😢😢😢

Sorry. Wrong reply.
See Sold Secure website and the fact it has their gold approval
looks good until you see the flimsy hooks for the pedals...I suspect any decent angle-grinder will eat through the hooks like butter.
