- In a candid revelation, senior Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari has shared the story of her second marriage. After 36 years of patience, Bushra Ansari tied the knot with her husband, Iqbal Hussain, for the first time in public view. During an interview on a UA-cam channel, she opened up about her relationship with Iqbal Hussain. She explained that people often asked her about her husband’s whereabouts and whether she lived alone. Now, she has answers to all those questions. In their joint vlog, both husband and wife discussed the societal stigma associated with older individuals getting married. Unfortunately, in our society, the marriage of an older man or woman is often viewed as a crime, regardless of their suitability for companionship. Bushra revealed that during the shooting of a drama, director Iqbal Hussain proposed to her, saying, “Since we both live alone, why not spend our lives together? Let’s get married.” Initially hesitant, Bushra eventually made the decision to marry after receiving support from close friends, family, and industry colleagues. Despite her initial mental reservations, she embarked on this journey, which took one and a half years to materialize. The couple’s children reside abroad, and they are content with their joint decision to spend their lives together. It’s worth noting that Bushra Ansari had previously discussed her divorce in an interview in January 2020, revealing that she had been divorced for quite some time. Later, in December 2020, she shared that she had considered divorce shortly after her first marriage but decided to wait due to her children. Now, after 36 years of patience, she has taken this step toward companionship once again.
