On your cod question, the describe and explain, isn't it showing the total number of cod caught, not the total population because it says "total annual catch of sea cod"? I talked about the fact that they'd introduced quotas and no fishing zones to reduce overfishing, hence the decrease in cod caught. Have I just misunderstood what the data was showing?
That’s an interesting angle…. My wording on this question wasn’t clear. In the real exam you aren’t required to know about changes to fisheries policy historically and it would be more likely that you get a “suggest what could be done” type question or are asked to analyse some new information on the topic
do you think its worth revising stuff not on the Advance info? my school never taught it so im not too sure whether it would be a wasted exercise or not
@@maiz3558 I would say active recall. So read through your textbook on the topic, write down what you remember, in another colour or at the bottom write in everything you forgot and if you have some time do some questions on each one

Evaluate is always +, - and conclusion. But normally for a “evaluate the students conclusion” type thing it’s 1 or 2 points for, 3 or 4 points against (ie the student or conclusion is normally only ever partially correct)

In paper 1 there were many questions on evaluate n they were 3 marks based on graph or data given . How do u answer those questions.
