To whoever is reading this, I hope you heal from the things you don’t speak about. I hope you find peace within your day. If all you did was get out of bed today, have a glass of water, or even just did whatever you could, just know that’s the best you could do at that moment and that’s okay. Everyone sleep well and I hope the waves of relaxation wash over you. Sending love and healing and light to all of you.
Just got off a very rough shift at work where we finished nearly an hour behind schedule.

A friend
I wish to find a friend.
One who is willing to listen.
One who is willing to share.
One who is willing to teach.
One who is willing to learn.
One who I can trust and not fool me.
One who tells the truth however hard it may be.
One who shall not deceive nor abandon me…
One who shares the same things I love and know…
One who I can fully trust and fight along with…
One who I can give my redamancy to as I’m filled with an unknown yearning…
Oh to laugh with a friend I truly know!

"feels like i'm floating" she says
He ponders this wistful thought, alongside the gentle patter of spring rain on the window looking in. "Maybe we are all floating", he thinks to himself. "like cherry tree petals in the wind, letting fate decide our direction". Her poetry was a thing of beauty, never failing to make his mind wander.
Attached to the letter were 16 serene melodies she referred to as, "soft piano songs that make me feel in heaven". If one looked close enough, they would be able to see a gentle smile on his face, "Perhaps all one needs to find their own heaven are soft melodies and a romantical imagination".
He sets the letter down, reaching for the fountain pen to start his reply, but suddenly he stops. Realisation breaks the fantasy he caught himself up in. The letters she sends never has a return address. He could not send any letters back, and she keeps sending hers. "What hopelessness we both must be feeling...".
Amidst this hopelessness, he grabs the melody sheets and wanders to his rustic piano. Playing can be heard across the Oxfordshire streets and fields of a fantasical soul living a hopeless romance. "There he goes again. She's sent another one", they think in sympathy as they walk past, joining in on the personal heaven he has lost himself to.
And so, the story goes on. A lover of poetry sending her letters to a lover she doesn't believe exists, who indeed is caught in a paradox of fate. Only one question remains, how will this story end?

I don't really keep a diary, instead I write poems from my heart, usually depicting a scene in nature or a memory that I want to capture.

Once Upon a Spring Morning
Once upon a spring morning
fluffy clouds drifted by
crystal dreams floating
against the azure sky,
Warm sunlight beaming down
in ethereal mists of gold;
shining upon the pathway
dappling the marigolds,
Passing beneath an archway
following where it led
pink petals thickly rested
roses climbed overhead,
Hummingbirds flitting by
beautiful and shimmering
emerald, sapphire and ruby
bright jewels glistening,
Reaching the other end
stepping out into the light
I gasped aloud in awe
at what was in my sight,
Lacy leaves of chamomile
Lavender- a splash of purple
Snapdragons tall and yellow
Baby’s Breath-perfect and subtle,
Morning dew glittered upon
the carpet of grass waving
The wind whispered quietly
through my hair playing,
Butterflies dance on a breeze;
choir of birdsong in the air
doves coo softly above
a spider weaves her lair,
To the left my gaze holds
yellow roses upon the fence
fragrant and heavy blossoms
with dark green ivy dense,
Daisies bobbed their heads
Cornflowers indigo blue
Bail, sage and lemon balm
the scent savory and calm,
I twirled about laughing
clasping my hat in hand
then paused- still smiling
looking out across the land,
The breeze caught my dress
the hem floated around
white, airy and billowing
then settled on the ground,
I bent down to a rose
lightly kissing soft petals-
it brushed across my nose,
as I caressed the red velvet,
Grasping a thick branch
of the drooping boughs
I ducked under leaves
of the prickly ash trees,
Drawing a deep breath in;
cool shade washed over me
a swing moved and swayed-
wood beginning to fade,
I walked forward to his grave
placing the dark red rose upon
forget-me-nots on the ground
teal covered each mound,
Settling onto the old plank
I began to swing gently
lifting my face to the sun
a tear trickled slowly,
I then smiled-relaxed
in my garden serene
peaceful and so happy...
once upon a spring morning.

What if today
The sun didn't go away?
And high up in the sky it stayed?
Would we still call the later hours night?
Even if the sky was lit with the sun clear in sight?

What if the moon decided (that) nighttime the sky(ies) would stay?

I wonder if daily life could continue normally
Would we find a way to deal with it formally?

[Edit: The two lines "perhaps a bit cold" and "I think I could manage" are the ones that made me laugh out loud and the rest made me think. Have you read Robert Louis Stevenson's poem called Bed in Summer? "In winter I get up at night, and dress by yellow candlelight. In summer, quite the other way, I have to go to bed by day . . . "]

Oh, dear. It is not a rope at all, but a precious periwinkle silk ribbon for a precious pet fawn who loves his mistress as much as she loves him. He is proud of the sweet bow tied on it, feeling loved and decked for spring, and heart-warmed that she loves him enough to keep him from wandering near the cliff's edge, where she is gathering flowers, some of which will form a sweet wreath for his little head shortly.

I love it, too. I can see the fairy dancing, pirouetting, and curtseying around the rim of a large, pretty, pedestal bird bath in a forest clearing.
