But thanks for reading 😊* Good morning, everyone!! I'm a 16-year-old girl from the US. I've dealt with life-long anxiety and depression. Having gone through Sexual Abuse, emotional abuse, verbal abuse, I've been in foster care (I am back home now), my family has been homeless, we've been forced to move across the country, etc. I'm dealing with eating issues (binging, restricting, straight up starving), and self-harm. I've had a very rough life, and it's only begun. I'm not sure I want it to continue most days, and I have a very hard time being alive. I have severe social anxiety, to the point where I'm constantly anxious. Even near my own immediate family. I'm constantly in a terrible mood. I've isolated myself to the point that I now have one friend. I recently lost my best friend, her name's Candice. I isolated myself from her over the course of this last year and lost her. She wanted to constantly see me, and that drained me all the time. I felt like she didn't understand what I was going through, (She still does not, but she tried) so, given the fact that I'm so avoidant. I haven't seen her since August of 2023. To say I miss her would be an understatement. My mom is having horrible health issues, there's nothing we can do but slow down the inevitable. My dad is a drug addict, who sleeps with men to get drugs. I don't even know where he is most of the time. It's very obvious to me, and the others around me (except my mom) that my dad doesn't particularity care for me, he only speaks with me to talk to my mother (they're not together anymore, it's kind of a situationship, honestly.) My father does love me, though. I've come to realize over the past few years that I don't truly love anyone. I think I love my mom, but I'm not sure. I wish I did, it's weird to not care about the people surrounding me. I believe it's simply a trauma response or something to not care, given that I've been separated from my family numerous times, so maybe it's just easier to not care about them? Idk, it sounds stupid, I guess. Going outside is another thing I struggle with. I haven't been outside since November 2nd, around 2pm. I spent the night at my friend's house the day before and came back that morning. I fear the outside. I used to hear about people that feared the outside, and think that it was a lie, I'd think it was stupid; how can you fear nature? the place we were meant to be? Well, I know, now. All in all, I just want to, not want to die, I guess. I want to be happy; I think. Do normal people things. Like get a job, make friends, be able to talk to people, etc. Anyways, I don't want to keep bringing this morning down, so I'll be done. God Bless 🙏❤ *think of my excessive use of commas as me pausing to think, cause that's what I did.* However, I have been signed up for therapy (the waiting list is sooo long, I've been waiting for over 3 months) My doctor is recommending me to take medications, so hopefully I'll be doing better in the near future. I plan on reconnecting with Candice, if God and time allows it. I will also be strengthening my relationship with the Lord, as I know he can guide me through this lifetime. I plan on going outside daily in 2025, which doesn't seem like a lot to most, but for me it's everything. Everyone's situation is different, and I feel that most people don't understand that. Or they do, but not fully. Try to be more understanding of the one's around you, make sure they know you love them. Take a small breath, and think about life, what do you want right now? Drink some water, nourish your body!! God is good

i bought a sketchbook last february when i was having bad thoughts about life. i am not a great artist but i try to divert my attention into art when things go down. i didn't realize the cover of the book was a monet painting. i realized it just now as i saw this video. i enjoy making art, and i the pieces in this playlist sums up what i feel when i draw.

That is such in incredibly beautiful picture.
