If you run an Ulterra, check in with it to see if it is willing to deploy that particular morning. Also don't forget tools for when it decides it is too tired to stow.
Pfd’s and I check my remote batteries for my power pole and Trolling motor and always have spare batteries in my dry box. One key thing to check if you’re going out before sunrise or expect me to stay past Sunset is to make sure your navigation lights are fully functional especially talking about corrosion those tend to be overlooked.
Hey captain, Have you ever done a video on tips to the best way of cleaning a boat after saltwater fishing? Keeping corrosion from developing on your trailer and boat.
Do you use a list app? I’ve been using Evernote, but open to suggestions. I’ve been 20 - 30 minutes to the ramp and at the ramp and realized I’ve left (keys, remotes, plugs) . Now I always check my list 😂
good reminder! I'm pretty anal to say the least, and try to think of everything...however, I never fire the motor...I do that when I get back, as I'm flushing, but never thought of doing it before hand, so I've added that to my pre-float plan!
Great tips but you never start your motor without earmuffs. You are cutting short on the water pump and the propeller doughnut inside check yourYamaha dealer. Second, you may have power to your trolling motor but it takes only 10 seconds to see if the propeller is working on your trolling motor. That’s the true test love your tips I’m fishing and boating watch your channel all the time
CA since you’re well acquainted with powerpole can you explain why they are charging almost $30 to ship a plastic bushing replacement set that cost $11? I just don’t see the thievery logic for the consumer.
And always make sure you put the drain plug in and have your favorite gnat spray
That’s a good point
