Man, listening to Mickey and his authentic and genuine passion for motorsports has just been unbelievable during this segment. It's like I can feel the passion out on the track through the screen from him! Content creators that have a true passion like Mickey is insanely hard to come by these days. It's a real breath of fresh air whenever he's explaining of what happened with the EK on the track, and how him and the Throtl team overcame it to STILL have an awesome day at Willow. He's a prime example of how you don't need clickbait cards or having to talk loud or with the "youtuber accent" to make a video enjoyable. Keep it up, Throtl team!

I'm currently building a 96 EK Civic Hatchback, they are such cool looking cars and the options for upgrades on them are endless. You can literally build them to do anything and they look cool doing it.

man seeing this thing run really get me in the mood to get my 1uz delsol swap done. but finding my "clean shell" is twisted really puts a damper on plans. also having to plan a custom tube subframe for the front is a challenge there is NO room for exhaust.
Time to build a fuel slosh tank and pump set-up to prevent fuel starvation
Must be fun seeing people's expressions when a civic shows up to a drift pad, and then they're confusion when the rears are breaking loose.

A few buddies of mine did something like this with an old golf for 24hrs of 🍋 they are running in the North east rallys now but mid switching over from running 318i BMW and moving to a mini coop I believe

Amazing car and content! Seems like it's a bit too short of a wheelbase to actually be an "easy-to-use" drift car but the RWD on the civic just looks right to me. As a European who's been driving and racing manual cars for about 18 years now, on the first onboard it's important to note that clutch and throttle pedals should be used separately while upshifting. Right now you can hear the car rev up towards the limiter once you press on the clutch pedal to go up a gear. This will wear out your clutch way too fast, especially on high powered cars. On the second onboard it's super important for overal balance of the car to not press in your clutch pedal the moment you enter a braking zone and keep it there until you've reached the correct gear. Start by slamming on the brake pedal and only use the clutch pedal while shifting down and try to do so as fast as possible without disturbing the balance of the car. The heel-toe technique is useless to correct car balance while downshifting if the clutch pedal is completely engaged during the whole braking zone, although you should keep doing it simply while releasing your clutch pedal directly after the heel-toe downshift. Take it to Chuckwalla Valley Raceway Oct 28-29 with NASA SoCal … I think some more laps and driving style changes will make for some huge improvements!
Too low, not enough meat, imho! Gotta put in the hours at the track to set it up correctly. More than eager to know it this will eventually be a capable track car. Good to see it put to good use!
