@@networkwalks I spent hours and hours! Watching Net+ comptia videos and the protocols never made sense in my head, I had trouble understanding them. Now it makes 100% sense just by watching your short video, thank you! I subscribed.
There are service providers having several thousand routers in a single IS-IS area. IS-IS traditionally scaled a bit better than OSPF because it was exposed to more abuse, but it shouldn't be hard to push OSPF (should you prefer it) to several hundred devices in a single area.
EIGRP has a faster convergence time than OSPF-meaning it can quickly recalculate routes if a link or router fails-because it uses a Diffusing Update Algorithm (DUAL) to calculate the shortest path to a destination, avoiding network loops.
Thanks for sharing such valuable information! I need some advice: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
OSPF Requires the IP Connectivity between the routers to share the routing information. IS-IS doesn't require IP connectivity between the routers as updates are sent via CLNS instead of IP. 7. OSPF supports NBMA and point to multipoint links.
The Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is one of a family of IP Routing protocols, and is an Exterior Gateway Protocol (EGP) designed to distribute routing information between ASs. EGPs are all vector routing protocols.
Best explanation ever !!!
thank you

this one is straight to the point, great explanation!

eigrp is which type of protocol then?
Awesome Video.. Thanks so much. I am studying towards my CCNA. Any suggested Videos?

What if I want to run OSPF on inter-AS boundary? Will it work?
why we prefer is-is routing protocol for datacenter instead of ospf?

Thank you!
This refreshed and cleared up some stuff for me.
Welcome. Please keep sharing this further
Thanks for this it is very helpful information which you share😇
My pleasure
I'm not able to find out your vidoes on Distance Vector and Link State Routing Protocols.
Hello,
Kindly click on Videos section or Playlist section of Channel.
does this mean without BGP we cannot connect two AS in any scenario or ?
id say ?
Great info
Thanks sir
Excellent video ... i'm now thinking ... eigrp is better or ospf?
Thanks
Thanks 🙏
Welcome
very good explanation..
but i need to explain different between Eigrp and ospf and which one better and why
EIGRP has a faster convergence time than OSPF-meaning it can quickly recalculate routes if a link or router fails-because it uses a Diffusing Update Algorithm (DUAL) to calculate the shortest path to a destination, avoiding network loops.

O Jani love U hogya bht acha smjhaya ❤😂
So ... OSPF is better or IS-IS is better?
Hello
It depends on the requirements. If its DC then IS-IS protocol is better & if its ISP core then OSPF is better choice
Good explanation ❤
Thanks sir
Do we still use RIP1 protocol?
Yes
Good 👍
Thank you Sir
sir can you make video on these routing protocols individually too?
Yes, soon
Informative video ❤️✨

Agr IGP ki types question ay.. Then ye LSP or DVP ko likhy gy na?
Yes, both Link State & DV fall under IGP.
There is only one type of EGP (GBPv4) which is based on Path Vector methodology.
wow nice
Ok thanks

Who is the instructor? Very clear explanation. Can I have his whatsapp?
So what's the difference between BGP & EGP ?
BGP is an EGP type of Routing protocol
Sir do we still use IGRP?
no, its an old protocol & we don't use it much these days
so it means igp has many types but egp has only one?
Yes
nice video
Thanks

Which Routing protocol is most used these days?
wow ---
Welcome. Stay in touch for next episodes on BGP, MPLS, VLANs, Cyber Security & Ethical Hacking
BGP is intradomain and RIP, OSPF are interdomain protocol but u explain it opposite way
No sir, RIP and OSPF are intradomain protocols (used within a single autonomous system).
