Hi guys! PLEASE NOTE: There is a mistake in Set 2 Number 10 in the answers. At the end of the description, you'll find the FULL SENTENCES with correct answer.
Thank you so much for this video! Extremely helpful. Turns out that after two years in the US I still have issues with catching names and numbers and your channel is just a hit. Thank you!
Mam, u r not only an excellent teacher, at the same time good entertainer and above all, classical personality, I like and respect u with the core of my heart
I have to say, I lost points from 6 to 10 of set 2. It's quite long numbers in the sentences, needs high concentration😊. I'll try to listen and write them down more to practice. Thank you for the useful video 😍🥰
I made 2 mistakes because my national language is not English and in the Lithuanian language, numbers are used in a different grammatical order. Your exercises are very useful thanks a lot. :)
Hi Max 🙋🏼♀️ It’s very easy 😍 Good video 🌹 I have 9 pairs of golden earrings 🤗 I heard a dog barking , I don’t like dogs it’s frightened me 🥺 Thank a lot 😍

@@nasseralomari9106 Yes, you're right! Thank you for telling me. Somebody on Instagram also mentioned it. I've edited my comment that is pinned at the top of the comments section. Well done on your score!!
Thank you, I just have a question, in the sentence "8. The apartment is 1215 square feet." is the first time that I heard "twelve thounsand and fifteen", it confused me with "12 015". How can I differentiate both situations?
I actually said "12 hundred" (12 x 100 = 1200). We say that sometimes for numbers between 11 and 19, e.g. 13 hundred, 17 hundred, etc. I hope that helps!

Australia really is a hot country.
28 degrees C in the middle of winter.
Haha, in the north here it's always hot. :D
Is a comma in a number necessary or not? Can I write my answer for listening without it? Thank you)
I'm not sure what ILETS examiners would say, but I think it's safer to use commas in big numbers.
Hi Max
Thank you for your practise it was very useful but 2/10 is 25448900 or 25488900 ?
Oh yes, sorry, there's a mistake in the video. It should be: 25,448,900. (The correct answer is in the description.)
💚💚💚
I don't understand why did u say twelve hundred and fifteen for 1,215? Can u please explain
Good question. For numbers between 1100 and 2000, we often use a number in the teens.
E.g. For 1800 you can say: Eighteen hundred.
@@EnglishwithMax ah i see...thanks a lot
Hi, I got 16 out of 20. Is it bad? .....
It's a decent score for this quiz, but it's not really good or bad because everyone is at a different stage in their learning. :)
9/10 & 5/10 🧐
Well done!!
8/4 😩
19 out of 20 for me.Not so bad ,isn’t it?
Well done! :)

The answer of SET 2 questions 10 should be 25,448,900.
I know - it was a typo. There's a note at the beginning of the description.
39/40 a silly small mistake.
so many earrings you have...... always distract my learning. hahaha. kidding.
😄😄
I thought you had at least 50 pairs of earrings. 🤔
That's probably more accurate. :D
My computer cost fifteen hundred dollars. $1500
5/20 very bad !!!
It doesn't matter. Everyone is at different stages. :)
