Actually you are the second person who said that. I'm thinking maybe this is a hachiya versus a fuyu persimmon. Thank you for sharing and thank you for watching!
It's fun to see videos of other fruits. Sometimes we get so caught up with the greatest fruit tree of all (avocados of course) that we forget there's actually other good and interesting fruit! Speaking of interesting I just rediscovered the Feijoa (pineapple guava) and it's amazing! Keep those videos coming!
Hi Ivan, thank you for your kind words and thank you for sharing about the Feijoa, I have to look into that fruit, sounds interesting. Thank you for watching my friend!
Thank you for sharing REM. I think it might be a fuyu giant since it is sweet tasting when we pick it right off the tree. Its not a regular fuyu for sure. Thank you for watching!
That's great that you got a great persimmon tree. hopefully it will fruit some great fruit soon, I really enjoy my persimmons. Have a great rest of the week REM! @@AvocadoTalk
beautiful tree ! beautiful fruit! I don't think that's a Fuyu fuyus are more kinda blocky and donut shaped! usually eaten crisp like a apple! but looks like whatever variety you have is even better then fuyu!
There are quite a few different persimmons out there. I see lots of different ones here. If it is sweet it could be an Izu or Giant Fuyu. These two tastes very similar to Fuyu.
Thank you for sharing. I think it is a Giant Fuyu from what it looks like but have to look into a Izu. Thank you for sharing your experience and thank you for watching!
Hi Tony, this Persimmon Tree was here when we moved in and we were told it was a fuyu persimmon. Normally it is nice and crunchy but I think we left it on the Tree for awhile. You might be right, maybe it is a hachiya or another variety. Thank you for sharing and thank you for watching!
@@johnnysworld-backyardorchard if you say its normally crunchy, and its edible while crunchy, then maybe it is indeed a fuyu. I think it could be a giant fuyu if it gets big. I seen some fuyus that are more rounded than flat, and it can get ripen to a soft stage too.
Thank you G for your comment! I think mine might not be a fuyu based on some comments I received. Maybe another variety of persimmon. Thank you for your comment and thank you for watching my friend!
Amazing Fuyu persimmons are so beautiful, I want to eat them, thank you for sharing
Thank you my friend for your comment and thank you for watching!
It has a shape like a hachiya, good stuff. 🤙🏼 Thank you for sharing.

Agreed. It did not look like a Fuyu to me.
Thank you Neal for sharing, I think you are all right on this not being a fuyu persimmon. Thank you for watching!@@ocneal

Hi Johnny, thanks for sharing, might be a Hachiya. Fuyu are more flat and eat it hard like an apple.

@@johnnysworld-backyardorchard very cool! I just got one tree this year also. So curious to see how my fruit will turn out compared to yours.

Is that really a fuyu? Looks like a hachiya, soft like one. What cultivar of fuyu is it if it is?

Yummy persimmon. My Fuyu seem to be more flattened than not as oblong as yours.
