is the razor blade testing 50 the reason this unit is called the PT50?? ''clever''. I soon learned how significant it is to run blades ''straight'' as humanly possible. OR I get varying all over the map, test numbers.
Would love to try one out on my channel cant afford it but would love to test a hair whittling polished edge versus a coarser grabby toothy edge and various angles and steels etc Possible to beg for one for a review? Think the pt50b is most suitable for my needs

All you need is the “C”. Those units are only good for getting a rough comparison of sharpness. Too many variables in the measurement process.
