Fun fact: today, April 30, is 1 year of the starting of IFISH TACKLE. I just received the UL fishing gloves and the new ECOLITE jigs (ECO = non lead, LITE = less than 1 gram) and will be available on the website in a couple of hours! You have to try the gloves! You gonabe going to the bar with those... just driving around town with them! So comfy!

I know this was a little while ago now, but curious if you recall your impressions of fishing the Kestrel and Legalis back to back like that.
Legalis is Legalis - Perfect. Kestrel does not have the same finesse feel, but its significantly lighter, and unless u change back to back with legalis, u don't notice the lower level of finesse feel

i can make a video about that but i have nothing to recommend and nothing u can learn from my setup. I am not happy with my setup and don't even use it very much... once i find the fish, and locate them - say 10 feel left of that tree there, then i just fish without it
@@ifishcatfish I recently purchased a similar 2024 V16 WT and just looking for ideas. Currently has the basic electronics BassPro gives you…. Which as you know is VERY basic. I’m not very technical and just looking to hear some feedback from those with experience. From following along on your videos I’ve learned you’re not to fond of the trolling motor and losing faith in the live scope lol. Always appreciate your honesty and feedback as I fish in a similar manor.
On a side note, I’m in Lake County, IL and fish the Chain of Lakes as well as right over the border in WI. I see you were previously from the Chi-Town area and moved. Smart move! Thanks for always replying and have a great day.
@@KevinMcGrath You should move too. In 2020 the city showed the citizens that in case of civil unrest the police will not protect you. But even without that they are determined to bleed everyone who lives there dry.
My boat setup is embarassing, if anything. I don't mind making a video about it, but it would be embarassing for me, and nobody will learn anything : ). Maybe i will just show my boat around in one of my fishing videos, but not a standalone boat setup video
@@ifishcatfish if it weren’t for the fact we have kids in the high school system here and a business, we’d be out of here. Illinois is definitely on track to bleed everything they can and killing small business too.
As for your boat: I can honestly say your genuine approach in your videos is seriously a breath of fresh air. One of the few channels I actually watch because of it. I’m already trying to figure how you mounted that 2x board at the bow because it’s genius. A video displaying what you have, wouldn’t do again and maybe some suggestions/ideas would def be helpful to your followers. Keep it real and leave the boat dirty even lol.

no.. first of all i dont know how to get these washers, and even if i did, how do u ship it greased?? It will be a MESS.

@@saleen12 people only need this for reels with bad drag. Shimano will never release a bad drag after my video about the Complex XR, and i have a feeling the Kestrel will not do that any more either. Then whom do i sell 5000 pieces of felt? : )

Normally I would be bass fishing more by now but your jigs and floats along with your tips have been so successful for me in catching more pan fish. Now having such a good time out there I can't put the UL gear down.
ESPECIALLY if the bass bite is slow! If they are biting - fine. But if they are not you always thinking that u could be catching bgs and crappies right now :). I want to go carp fishing but it takes so many hours to get a couple of fish..
