This belt does have a very nice quick release buckle and I’m a big fan of that. But they made the dang thing 2” wide! Don’t get me wrong, still a nice belt for the price. But it does become rather annoying having to undo the buckle and Velcro every time. I’d like to set the Velcro once and be good. But again, for someone just looking to carry something light and simple, this belt will work just fine. Appreciate the feedback! Which belt in particular are you referencing? Another wolf tactical belt?
You're absolutely correct. This was an older model that did not have the ability to go through the loops unfortunately. I too am very impressed with the quality. Not going to lie, at that price point, it's hard to beat them!
The kore belts are so much more adjustable on the fly its all i use now. And quality pound for pound is better or the same so you can have my cobra buckles
I didn't find it to be terrible in terms of quality. But the buckle being too big to fit through the loops was a bummer. They've apparently fixed it in a newer version of the shorts.
I have one and have no issues. Maybe I have a different model, but my 1 buckle fits through belt loops pretty easily. The best part is the price, considering some similar bets go for over $60.
Yeah, they made a new model of the belt which is designed to fit through the loops. This was the older model lol. Thank you for the feedback though. Totally agree that it's a great alternative to the more pricey options on the market!
Really guys? Although we swipe for everything these days, undoing a buckle is NOT science and neither takes hours but only two to three minutes TOP, C'mon man, REALLY? Although great vid bro, keep it up.
I'm not sure which one you have specifically but I have the same belt and the buckle goes thought the loops on my pants/jeans. It's a decent belt for EDC.
I believe I had gotten an older version. I tried for about 20 minutes to wiggle it through the loops with no luck! But the newer versions are available with the ability to slide through the loops!
Don't count on the "lifetime guarantee'. One of the springs gave out on mine after about 6 months of use. I contacted the company sent a video of the problem and never could get them to respond after that. It's been months now. I have tried and tried to get a response and crickets. Do yourself a favor and go with a reputable company.
Lol I'm sure with some practice I could do the same. My first time doing so, had some choice words for the belt! But ultimately did get it to work. As I had said, it wasn't the end of the world. Just not something you could really make happen if you need to buckle up quickly. The belt stays secured in those tactical shorts now to say the least!
My new go-to is Kore. They’re the most solid belts you can buy all around. They make different sizes, colors, buckles, thicknesses, etc. They use a ratcheting style buckle which I personally love. Very very easy to put on and take off.
Not really. It's designed to be run through the loops. Unfortunately like a normal belt, it was too wide to fit through the 1.5" loops. Wolf Tactical does make a new belt which does fit through the loops. But this particular model did not. Each time you want to take it in and out of a pair of pants, you have to remove the belt from the buckle to remove it. While it doesn't take long to do, it's not as simple of a process as a traditional belt.
I don’t understand the problem. Not once in my 33 years on this earth have I ever needed to feed a buckle through a belt loop. You feed the tail end of the belt through all the loops.
There is a buckle on both sides of the belt. One is a male end of the buckle and one is the female. They're the same size. It is not setup like a standard dress belt unfortunately. This is also an older model of the belt. The newer ones fit and there are no issues whatsoever.
Plus the Velcro shredded my pants when I looped it in and took it out. Gonna have to return my pants and get a new pair. It doesn’t fit my pant loops when I have the Velcro attached to the furry part.
Damn! Fortunately I didn't have that happen. As everybody else has stated, they did make a newer version which does fit the belt buckle. I just wish I had known that beforehand! Lol
I am simply giving my opinion after using it for a few weeks. I just distinctly remember reading 1.5" on both the pants and the belt. Must have missed it if they mentioned something about the size of the buckle. Not sure.
@@BlueprintTactical I agree with you also I hard to put an outside the waist holster the extra length and belcro makes it hard to push through the loop!
They actually make a belt with 1.5” quick release on one side to fit through belt loops. Good belt for daily carry.

@@BlueprintTactical they have one thats a "hybrid." its smaller on one side so itll slide through
@@blurryface1975 🤦♂ I ordered the wrong one for sure lol
Shit belt confirmed
@@yaboycce745 Tell us why and tell us what you are using please.
Gotta get you the hybrid belt. The quick release buckle fits right through the loops.
Very impressed with the quality of wolf tactical

Mines has the quick release I dnt mind fishing it thru the pants so far the belt works for me
i use the grovelife low profile belt for carrying my sig p365 and the 1.5in belt for my threaded echelon.
The kore belts are so much more adjustable on the fly its all i use now. And quality pound for pound is better or the same so you can have my cobra buckles
I bought one of these a couple years ago and I wish I would have spent more on a better belt.

@Blueprint Tactical Thanks. I'm all for paying more for quality gear, but I have a hard time believing that similar belts are worth $60+
Really guys? Although we swipe for everything these days, undoing a buckle is NOT science and neither takes hours but only two to three minutes TOP, C'mon man, REALLY? Although great vid bro, keep it up.
I don't use belts with that kind of buckle for that reason you said in your video. I used leather belts
I don't care about the Cobra buckle enough to deal with that. I will continue with the 5.11 operator belt.

Is it possible to wear this without belt loops?
Good video, but as others stated there is a "revised" version now with a smaller buckle. was hoping this was that video.
