Because those are not ice cubes. They are just props made of plastic for the movie. Food, ice creams or ice are always fake in the movies. You can't have real ice on a set while you are filming many hours , it will melt.

Ya I loved this one, the remake was so dumb I think and the story just was to sci-fi I would call it, with the guy having bullet proof skin so he electrocuted him and they changed the story to be centered around some random girl being the "first". If they ever making Hitman again I hope they don't go with some random story and just stick to the core of the original.

The elevator disappearance is soooo. Classic Hitman I loved this movie. Hitman 2 felt too much like an ordinary action movie while giving 47 a sidekick in reality 47 always works alone.

This movie speaks to how good of an actor Timothy Olyphant is. He's mentioned how he didn't particularly enjoy doing it, yet he still gave it his all. Hopefully one day, someone can convince him to come back if they ever do it justice.

@@amaruvandevu8603 It's not an easy gig. You're supposed to work 10 hours a day with hundreds of other people, for weeks, especially roles like this can be very tiresome with all the stunts, travelling and difficult to shoot scenes.

This is the last level for Hitman 3 if anyone has ever played the game.
The game doesn't it better because right before the police break in he has this little monologue about his life and time as a hitman. Its some of the best acting in a video game ever.

People who are like "NOO HITMAN DOESNT KILL NON TARGETS HE STEALTHY", you have to realize that this is not a scenario where he is doing a contract, he is being hunted down and thus must defend himself and escape, so he does everything in his ability to do so.
Scenarios like this were in the games and you could go stealth. The point is people love hitman for stealth, outsmarting guards, staff, target, exellent planning and smart improvisation, not for action and massacre

If u remember in blood money, at the end he almost died cuz of such a betrayal; only for Diana did he live. Its not always possible to plan and stealth, sometimes u gotta improvise.

I absolutely loved how absolutely badass looking these Russian SWAT, Spetznas/Alpha, or whoever they're supposed to be in this scene. They basically look like they're Helghasts from the "Killzone" video-game series, (which intern were largely based off the the look of the Panzer Cops in the Panzer Cops manga/anime series). They're just so cool looking - so, so cool.

@@NeonNoctibus They didn't look that futuristic or anything, i mean they are wearing modernish gasmasks, helmets, and especially with regards to their AKM rifles. The only thing that's really that out of place is the body-armor, specifically those shoulder pauldrons. I wish movies and shows would more stuff like this, being or at least implying that they are set in the near future, but without the the whole movie designed around the fact that it's near-futuristic. Predator 2 did something similar. It was set a few years in the future from when it was made, but that specifically wasn't the focal point of the film, it just gave the movie a more unique personality/feel, just like this movie did. But, to each his own i guess

What i really liked about timothy was that he didnt have the voice for 47 down but everything else he did great, especially the way 47 walks in the games and Timothy got that down really well

This scene is inspired from the last mission in Hitman:Contracts. That mission is ABSURDLY HARD, took me 2 days to make it Silent Assassin ranking.

Every now and one gets a movie that is perfect ( my opinion) -Timothy Olyphant adds depth to sad and troubled assassin character and the chemistry between himself and Olga Kurylenko was moving. The story rolled along at a breathless pace enhanced by the superb music soundtrack. Never tire of seeing it.
he was pretty good but the olga part was a bit off i reckon. We all know the real 47s no simp and probably a virgin too lol. He might've tapped Diana on a business trip somewhere or something but thats speculation hahah

Bare feet too... Obviously whoever made this film has never seen Die Hard.
yeah barefoot through those glass doors would have totally messed him up in reality. Arms, legs and definitely feet would all be cut to ribbons. He might have still been able to get up and fight and what not, but he would be seriously messed up and need medical attention in the very near future. Worked in Walmart Electronics a while back, had a guy punch out the glass case to try and steal an Xbox 360 when those were new.... totally fucked him up... had to get towels to keep his dumb ass from bleeding out... paramedics that came commented that he could have realistically bled out before they got there had we not got the towels and applied pressure. (Walmart didnt bother pressing charges, dude was so messed up he got his punishment) soooooo much bleeding... still get a little queasy thinking about it.
Lmao if you watched Mr. & Mrs. Smith, the main protagonists literally fighting and rolling on all over broken glasses and the lady just wore a dress and yet not even one glass scratches lol. These kinds of movies is entertaining to watch but easily forgettable.
I love how rhe kids aren't even phased that a guy just crashed in to their hotel after an explosion above them just happened AS they are playing the game.

Everyone talks about Timothy Olyphant... can we take a moment to say how damn good Diana is - somebody we never really see in either film or games (not sure about the "remade" games) as "Hitman's Handler" and the role in the film is played well to tie in with the games.

This was such a great character for Olyphant that I believe it was a huge mistake for him not to pursue. It would have put him in the category of Statham from an action hero standpoint.

He is a great actor but a terrible choice for this role. He admitted that he only took it to pay for a new house. I never understood why they didn't just use David Bateson.

I loved the movie... Olyphant was the best Hitman imo, apart from this weird kinda love story between him and Nika. I will always love the Gun-club shoot out scene in Istanbul. Amazing choreography^^

Really good adaptation, shame people didn't get it and decided to critisize it for things that didn't matter at all.
I love how in movies the life of assault teams doesn't matter at all. When they die the director be like "oh no, anyways...". The only life that really matters is the life of the protagonist, in this case, the investigator or the lieutenant.
"we had him" seems a bit optimistic considering he basically walked through everything and took a casual jump into the river and got away.

Silent assassin is 47 and not vice versa, the game is about having fun different ways, not about making everyone play the way You like, rating system is there only for players to try those different approaches, not to prohibit them from having fun. Overall the movie just sums up average hitman's experience, not silent assassin's, you're just too limited to see it.
I remember playing this game OVER AND OVER just loved the action.
