Dont need them. JT's voice is Kool&The Gang music. Dont know them anyway. Always know JT. He was the band commercial look and the voice. If I have his voice and looks , I certainly don't need anyone else. What for?? Sorry.
Saw them live on tour in late 2019 in Canada. JT does a great job in this video

lapson19 yes I know he hasn't been with them for a while but in this video he is performing in he does a great job. At the concert I attended the lead singer was great too and he looks a bit like a young JT. I had a meet and great with Zkool and the Gang last year and VIP seating. Would have loved to have been at this 2018 concert in Germany too.

My friend, Steve is only saying that JT Taylor still sounds very good and looks great for his age, much like he did in the 80s. That's not to say JT Taylor's music career does stem from the 70s. There are lots of artists with classic hits in the 80s, but began their careers in the 70s (or even 60s). And if I'm not mistaken, JT Taylor (Kool & the Gang) had more hits in the 80s than 70s.

I was fortunate enough to see Kool and the Gang when JT was lead singer. First time was in 1984 in Charlotte NC. Damn, what a great concert. Evelyn "Champaign" King, The Bar-Kays opened for K&TG. I wish JT would get back with K&TG.
