If you are thinking of traveling to Canada in the next few months, make sure you check the latest rules on the official website www.canada.ca because even after my return, the travel regulations have changed once again. Hey Alina! Hi! I know that feeling of getting up at “O’ Dark-Thirty” to catch a flight - uugggh. Sometimes the only thing that can keep ya rolling is to get that song in your head and walk to its beat (like the Cody Francis pick your using here). The whole airport thing in the morning is like some foggy but cozy space - even the takeoff and engine roar, then watching the wings dip and play through the cloud layers. I really felt your caption “Goodbye Albania. Love ya.” It is possible to fall in love with a place that beautiful. BTW, the PCR test: I think they know how deep to go only when they see the agony on your face - lol, you tried to cover it up, but we saw it! You are indeed a trooper - hey, anything not deadly to get back to loved ones, eh? Love you! Glad your quarantine is completed. Til next time, virtual hugs 🤗!

Getting home is usually harder than taking an outbound trip. The world is an amazing place but as the look between you and your mother conveys at the end of the video, there’s nothing quite like home. German has two words that capture it all, when you’re restless and you want to find out what’s out there, you’re struck by wanderlust. Sometimes that never quite seems to end. The look in your eyes Alina, on arriving home, is illustrated by that other word: heimweh - homesickness. You can’t explain it to anyone because every journey in the world, indeed all the roads in life lead us to the same destination. What a long, strange trip its been - glad to see you home with your family and if you never post another video, we, your YT family will treasure this one along with you for the rest of our lives. That journey in Greece and in the Balkans was super, we enjoyed it and at this point along the way, it seems appropriate to say all good things must come to an end.... until next time! Take care and as always, stay blessed!

Dear Alina, in Bulgaria, today Gyms, Malls are again open .. Restaurants will be March 1st ! the only things which are not opened ans with out opening date : discothèques !
Covid is a breaze for most people younger than 60. It's a shame all the restrictions and lockdowns that were implemented. Many businesses went bankrupt.

She is a lovely lady.. like you, She reminds me of the wonderful and close people I met who escaped USSR and the 1990 catastrophe. Bless her heart. It was heart warming to see the special bond. It's great that you got home safely to visit family. During the first lockdown and border closure situations ,some travel vloggers had really difficult situations to deal with . One that comes to mind is motorcycle traveller, Itchy Boots who was stuck in Peru for a while .She had an awfully stressful situation to deal with . In a way we are fortunate in NZ to have a relatively normal existence..for now..but not without difficulties that flare up .

Inspired by several youtuber videos about Albania, I am planning a 4-5 week stay in the Balkans (Albania, Macedonia & Montenegro, even tough I have been to Montenegro before) during June - Oct timeframe (remote work half the time).

Welcome back! I returned from Colombia Dec. 26th and completed the mandatory 14 day quarantine. It seems it is the airlines responsibility to implement any travel restrictions. My return flight was with American Airlines and had to complete a symptoms questionnaire and download the arrive Canada app prior to boarding my flight. I got a Covid test done after my quarantine which was negative, although it wasn't required at the time. I just wanted to be sure.

I am going to miss your vlogs in the Balkans. There were so many memorable moments... Varna, road trip in Bulgaria, Ohrid, the bike tour to St. Naum, Berat, nice apartment in Vlorë and bunkers in Sarandë. (I still have to watch the Greek part, but I’m sure it’s nice as well.) Now it’s time to enjoy your family in Canada. I can imagine how strange it is to be flying now. Empty airports, restrictions, rules... Take it easy and recharge the batteries for the next adventure.
