Good vid. I just watched your vid on fitness saved your life. Congrats on giving up alcohol. I gave up in 1997. About 6 years later I became partially spinally decapitated. Took 13 years for my first fusion but before that I got a pacemaker put in because I went sudden cardiac arrest and then I had to deal with thyroid cancer. Then a year after getting my neck fused c3-c7 I got the plate removed due to it loosening. Then a year after that I fell due to my bad heart.. "sick sinus syndrome tachy brady" and snapped my neck again and got the backside fused. I have occipital neuralgia for life now. It has been like 4 year since my last surgery and I workout again. Did a round of Power 90 then started doing kettlebell workouts. Helps my pain a bit.
I am completely new to kettlebell, I got an adjustable kettlebell recently (because they have multiple weights instead just one single one, I don't know which is the"right"weight(s) for me yet). So this is my starting point. I am just doing it for my general health, and not competing, as I have heard some kettlebells are for competition, but definitely NOT the adjustable one. I don't really care about it, just want to get a taste for it, for now. Thanks
I enjoyed this Jay. I’m relatively new to using a kb so I’ll take all this info into account. Do you have any thoughts about swinging the kb higher, say to like shoulder or head height? Thanks👍.
I am swinging it to shoulder height✅ You shouldn’t need to swing it any higher unless you want to start working some shoulders. This is a lower body explosive exercise. The arms are just guiding the power from the lower body. We should be lifting the bell up really at all✅
