This was meant to be published a week after my previous one but I ended up in hospital, where it's notoriously difficult to post UA-cam videos :) I've added to my fountain pen collection because that's what people who use fountain pens do. I may make a video and confirm my fountain pen obsession... If you need a refresher, here's the previous video: ua-cam.com/video/odeUWohuIaM/v-deo.html
I love the way you journal and the way you choose what supplies to use. I was minimal about my planning and journaling, but I went down a youtube rabbit hole. I ended up hanging onto every little thing I thought I could use in my journal. I had no idea what I had, but I felt like I needed to use it all. I got so overwhelmed and it made journaling less enjoyable. At the beginning of this year, I purged a lot of it. I only kept what I loved and now I love my journaling supplies. I have just enough for me and I love it more because I use it all.
I TOTALLY understand that, haha. My fountain pen collection exploded, and I've put a cap on buying more now. There's so much beauty is well-used, well-worn items.
I really love your videos. I am enjoying my hobonichi cousin. I used to stick tons of things in mine but I have stopped doing that and now it's more just a bit of stickers and washi here and then with mildliners highlighting. Your pages are so pretty. I would love to see other journal flipthroughs and how you use them. X
Aw, thanks! Sounds like you have a wonderful setup. Those midliners are gorgeous and I wish I had them rather than my Tombows, honestly. Would you like to see art journals or more planner-type flipthroughs?
Caylee: thank you for your update with your supplies. I, too, don’t think one needs a lot of supplies. I wonder how some of these journalists can use everything they have and collected. You’re bound to forget what you have. Out of sight, out of mind… I love paper, magazines and pretty things, however, there is a limit. I realized that a long time ago. Carol from California
I definitely get it! I’m already addicted to stationery and Hobonichi is the worst Pusherman to addicts like us! I mean you absolutely MUST have everything! I convinced myself last year, that I had to have a $40 lil zip change wallet thingy. I love it but I really can not afford crap like that! LoL stationery’s much more important! Soon I won’t have any money therefore no need for $40 wallet! Maybe I’ll use it to hold paper clips? I say all this in fun. But there is a hint of truth there as well 😉if you know, you know!
I didn't know you're a planner girl, Caylee! so cool! is it a new thing or an old love ? I'm not a planner-girl anymore, but I do love lists and writing them in a simple Traveler's notebook :)
The Flower Cover of your Hobonichi cousin is so pretty, I love how gentle the shades are and how they fit wonderfully with the "weekly planner" gold letters. Stunning. I have a really small collection of Tombow markers, I have the two greens you showed here and another mustard and that's it. They're so gorgeous and it's addictive so after buying ALL GREY SHADES of copic markers ever existed, I decided to narrow down my marker obsession hahahah :) I also have a Kaweco Fountain Pens, one is Kaweco Sport in Extra Fine Nib (EF) and one is a matte black Perkeo in Fine Nib (F). I really love them both and not planning to buy more. I fill you about liquid inks. I have one sephia and one black and I'm planning to get a grey one and that's it. I loved listening to you talking about pens and markers and inks and all those fun stuff! Such a cool video, my friend. Kisses and Hugs!
I really love it too. Sostrene Grene has a lot of wonderful floral patterns at the moment. Aw, love your Tombow collection - those are definitely *your* colours. Big love XO

I hope you're feeling much better after your stay in hospital Caylee! Thanks for this wonderfully calming video. Sending so much love 🦢
Thank you lovely.

Hey Carol! So nice to "see" you again. So true... we forget what we have and then what we once loved just gets dust.
Stalogy doesn’t have Tomoe River paper, though it is quite similar. New subscriber. Really enjoyed the video.
