Paul Newlove , he was some player; pure heart and powerful runner !
Fittler and Johns were so young
and so good
Mark Carroll got the raw prawn. He didn't do nuffin'
What was the touch judge looking at during the offiah break...it was play on and and a England try
fantastic final!
On ya, Wishy!
Johns and Fittler 🔥🔥
This shows how much depth Australia had. None of the Super League players were selected. That's why there wasn't any Broncos, Raiders or Bulldogs players playing, and these teams dominated the 90's.
What a game
Offiah always use to run too close to the side line and get pushed out...
...... apart from all the times he scored.
@@RypienGT I was about to say the same thing
Would have scored more if he wasn't pushed out so often.
Again, England put up a wonderful team. For the special olympics.
On ya Aussie 🇦🇺👏💪
half those players would be off the field these days, Times change.
Didn't realise Brett Dallas played for Australia
Super league players weren't selected, so no Sailor, Carne, Mullins etc
@@madmots981 forgot about super league! Mullins was my favourite player back then
@@madazzaThat Raiders team of the mid 90's was exceptional.
An Australian team without the soon to be Super League players - Daley, ET, Mullins, Sailor, Renouf, Hancock....loads of big names not there
Lockyers tackle on Offiah.
That was Tim Brasher mate. Locky made his debut in 98 for Kangaroos
@@madmots981 Cheers. Was so shocked by the tackle to listen to the commentary! Brasher was lightning quick.
@@madmots981 actually the 1997 super league test.. ironically the last test at the old Wembley
@@seankiely975 good call. Most people forget the 97 Super League Test Tour of England.
That was actually a try..don't know what the touch judge was looking at
He didn’t step out and it was a try for England .
England simply not in the same league as Australia. Pretty much like new south wales trying to beat queensland 😂😂😂
NSW are the Champs though…
Hi

Nice to see a proper referees kit, none of this pink rubbish like they wear in 2022 with sprinkles of rainbow dust 🤢🤮
Does the colour pink offend you? Such a snowflake

I wonder what it would feel like to get pinned by the NRL?
Well that ain’t happening

You are a N O N C E
Pathetically refereed game. England, as usual, all frenzied early with little effect. Never looked like winning against a second strength Aus team.
What rubbish game 2022 is heaps better
2022? 2024 is way betterer...
