Hearing kids be like "WAIT WE HAVE TO WAIT A WEEK?!" is so refreshing lol. I've seen a bunch of anecdotes from parents so far about this show having the same affect on basically all their kids.
FYI, The Old Republic is NOT the republic that was ended with the start of the Empire at the end of Episode 3. The Old Republic is a republic that fell about 1000 years BEFORE Episode 4. So At Attin has been out of contact for a VERY long time, and it explains why their “mint condition Old Republic” credits would be worth a LOT.
20:32 Well, I think it is safe to assume that Jod Na Nawood's age is closely linked to the actor playing him, Jude Law, yeah? Jude is 51 years old, and this story takes place five years after Return of the Jedi, which takes place 23 years after Order 66. Jod is old enough to have grown up on Coruscant! As a Force sensitive person, he would have been collected by the Jedi when he was a small child because that's what happened back then. It appears that Jod, like every other Jedi we've met after Order 66, walked away from the Jedi life because their lives depended on it. Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, and Kal Kestis all found mundane work on worlds outside of the core worlds, away from the Empire's sphere of influence. They held their heads down and did their work. They didn't want to bring any attention to themselves. Jod did them one better. He allied himself with lawless people, pirates! Pirates are always on the move, evading authorities everywhere they go; everyone is good at evading and breaking the law. His new work allowed him to be whomever he needed to be, and he was able to do it with a mask on his face. It would seem that his tepid connection to the Force is why his latest heist didn't go off as planned--Obi-Wan had a bad couple of outings too when he was with little Leia until his connection grew strong enough to use it as he did in the prequels. Is that what's happening with Jod in this series? Jod, like all of the Jedi's we've met, didn't not admit they were Jedi right away. They denied it. It wasn't until hope presented itself, and they embraced it before they did. The most powerful Jedi the Jedi had ever known, had snatched hope away from the order, plunged them into darkness. Surviving Jedi ran because they had lost hope. It makes sense that the first episode of the OT is called A New Hope! But I digress, Jod likely doesn't trust droids because droids made up the Separatist's army were all droids, and the Jedi along with their Clone Troopers had to fight them. The droid army was responsible for many Jedi deaths. More importantly, societies everywhere have a disdane for droids in this era and it was first shown to us during ANH on Mos Eisley--"We don't serve their kind here. Your droids. They'll have to wait outside." Even in the Outer Rim, a desert planet called Tatooine, the people there hated droids. Droids were expected to have restraining bolts on them, and we now know why. They plundged the galaxy into war, killing billions, orphaning millions (e.g. Din Djarin). Droids were trusted assistance, as we see on At Attin a world living in a bubble, a bubble that predates the prequel films! The Star Map Kh'ymm showed them is really, really old. It very likely predates the Acolyte, which already predated the prequel by 100 years! They know of no wars! They only know of piece. The Jedi were enjoying a very long streak of very good press. 20:49 "Keep'em back." Notice how Jod hasn't killed anyone, and how he makes it clear to the kids to just distract the X-Wings and not shoot to kill them. He didn't kill Kh'ymm or the pirates. He could have let the kids go back and get SM-33 by themselves, which they were very ready to do, but he did it, keeping them safe on the ship, which he pointed out before leaving to go get their droid. Jod isn't a bad person. He is a survivor, and he's slowly finding a reason to stand up and fight, keeping the children safe. 22:33 I love watching the excitement this series brings your daughter, man =) She's the target audience and she seems to love it. Good Job Disney!
Not the Cashoh joke lol it’s ok Shane he is a streamer/youtube guy lol plays video games. She so funny and this is so cute to get a family perspective because a lot of channels are adults so thanks fun time Shane
Yeah I too think Ja Na Nawood was a Padawan learner or youngling who was as he said "let down" by a Droid maybe blaming it for something during Order 66.

It's great seeing a dad and daughter watching a show together. You must be really happy with it.
