The removal of stats, IMO, is something that has been needed for a while. It defeats the main purpose of what TFT is supposed to be about which is on-the-spot thinking and creativity. There is a different beauty in knowing stats, being able to utilize them efficiently and executing the right board based on the scenario... but it can't compete with the beauty of using your own intuition to outplay others. I can see this hurting many but benefiting others who didn't perform as well in stat-heavy type gameplay.
The problem is that many augments dont have intuitiv effects that can easily be estimated for the average player. People have to play way too many games, just to get a feel for what is actually strong. It makes the game less competitiv on every level, except the very highest, because they will spend a huge amount of time analysing all augments. It wasnt even an issue to begin with. You could easily hit masters, not having looked at any stats about the entire set. In the end, the only gain removing stats has, is people like you who thinks it is better, and therefor will be happier, when in the first place, you could just not look at the stats. Lastly, stats do not defeat on the spot thinking, that is very just flat out wrong.
@@andersjensen1448so what you’re saying is the people that put more time and effort into analyzing shouldn’t be rewarded for that? The only people this affects are the people that would just pick the highest placement augments regardless of anything. It won’t really change what pros do or anything at tournaments, and people who complain about competitiveness in ranked don’t understand that your rank means legitimately nothing to anyone. Stats removed all on the spot thinking because players would just take the augments with the highest placement regardless of what they were playing. Anyone complaining about stat removal used them as a crutch so they didn’t have to actually play the game and instead could just read their spreadsheet 😂
@@z34567890123456 But to play correctly, just picking the highest wr would be wrong. People are rewarded for playing and analyzing, but augments are too convoluted and can even be bugged, which wr spots easily. If augment wr is too much, then composition winrates and item winrates and unit winrates should not be available either using the same argument, but that is just not the case, because they are situational, just as augments. Some devs and players were mad that people could be "too strong" without mindlessly trying all options. Just by your comment i can smell the low elo.
Ok so u destroy casuals and if u dont spam games u will lose because u wont know whats good or no. We dont have anomaly stats aswell so yeah good luck playing 2 games per day and not getting annoyed because something is uber trash that should be good but other things are much better. Maybe good for pros idk and idc because people still gonna play best comps but simply wrong and it wont change anything.
@@m3zuss no casuals were looking at stats, only sweaty nerds were looking at stats so they could say they were a high rank like it meant something when they didn’t even use their head to anything smart. Just read what was the highest placement augments and clicked
The 40% augment on silco was actually op scaling with 6 domination. It said all sources so is 40% more for each cast
yea its one of the best silco anomalys hurt to see him skip
