The point f this video is about what LA's are doing and how they challenege the constraints of a site and its infrastructure and how it can be turned around into a post-olympics usable site. Great thing that countries are becoming forward thinking in not creating huge wastes of space for 3 months of use and then abdondoning them.
I am trying to understand the design. It looks tiring and disorienting. Can you tell me what is brilliant about it. Maybe if you have been there it would be very helpful.
How so? The video doesn't explain much. I get it that they raised the park over the banks, but I don't even understand how the venue operates. The structure they keep showing looks like a bunch of sharp edges that I am not sure what they have to do with the place.
The flats are really ugly, flat roofs don't work there is nothing beautiful about them plus they leak as the water has no where to go and just sits on the flat roof doing damage, and it rains in the UK JEEZ. And what is that rollercoaster thing thats really ugly as well. Some of this park is really nice but some up it I really give a thumbs down!
Jack Daniels have you been to it this was 4 years ago the park is fantastic especially when the weather is good my kid loves it I take him every Saturday to walk Around and play tennis and stuff

It is very beautiful.. but will it stay that way.. it looks like it needs alot of maintenance.
