Having discussed the advantages of doing CA in India and then going on to do CPA in Canada to shorten the length of the program there one point that got sorely missed is that Indian CA is a big rip off and you know what I am talking about, it has been so superficially difficult that even many bright students drop out. Indian CA is what to say..... sucker of sorts

So many videos on this topic but no one clarify that what will be the visa process to go to Canada for sitting in exam. Neither ICAI nor cpa and also not any youtuber have covered the topic that what will be the process to go to Canada for exam. Immigration process is most important criteria in all this process which is not considered by anyone.

Just checked, experience working in India under a CPA US firm will count if the company to which they are applying is looking for someone with similar experience. This actually applies to all prior work experience, if the employer is looking for someone with similar work experience it will definitely be considered.

Could you please tell how much difficult it is to clear the CFE exam in Canada as compared to CA Final exam in India..... I basically want to know the toughness level of CFE exam and how much time does it take to clear the CFE exam. Also, is it better to do CPA USA rather than go in for CFE Exam for an Indian CA.
If by acca, you mean cpa, then yes for sure you can. You just need to ensure your employer (and this could be in any industry or a professional services firm) has a pre-approved CPA program. If they are not, you can go the experience verification route as well, but this might be a bit harder. As you would have seen in the video, you can definitely apply to jobs with that degree. CPA just gives you an extra edge. Hope that answers your question 😊

If you see the video, there is a mention of people getting jobs basis your CA which will be evaluated by any ECA conducting institutions. To your answer, there are chances you can apply to jobs once you have a work permit/ PR. But I would highly advise that you also do CPA once you settle down here for a better future. All the best 😊

Hi Utkarsh, if you have the requisite points to get the ITA, go for it. Coming on a student visa would be expensive and even the benefits you have as PR are quite a lot if you compare it with a student

The overlap doesn't matter. Accurate disclosure of information is very important throughout the immigration process as well as after.

it is better to do cpa US from india. these people are lacking from knowledge. cpa US have MOU with cpa Canada and comppeted with 1 year.
