Imagine be lured into a metal contraption as it squished you to death. I always cringed at Juni being in there, thinking if he has stepped in wrong or machine malfunctioned he’s be dead instantly.
1:06 OK. I want a good clean Robo fight. There would be no kidney punches. No rabbit punches. No eye gouging or ear biting. Unless, of course, you can’t help yourself.

What I don't get is while the cgi isn't great in the 1st film, how did it manage to get worse with each sequel?

Not sure but in my opinion the third one looked really rushed. That could be a guess but who knows
To be fair, they spent 90% of the movie inside of a VR game, and modern VR isn’t much better.
Plus 3D movie technology was in its infancy.
I feel like we only notice this as adults, seeing as it’s geared toward kids, maybe they weren’t worried about it, as a kid I didn’t know the difference between good cgi and bad cgi so this looked cool to me still
