I don't know if I really had a favorite UA-cam video before this, but...after discovering this video, I think it takes the cake. Forget isn't my favorite song of Pogo's, but it's likely in the top 5. The beginning is my favorite part but there are memorable moments/clips throughout. Pogo was a genius for creating the original, and AtlasGeneticist's 4K recreation was impressive, but the timestretch's effects on the audio and *especially* the afterimages produced by the VHS effects you applied make this the perfect thing to zone out to late at night...just somehow makes an already nostalgic/bittersweet/magical video into something even more treasured. I first found this video a couple days ago at 1:30 AM and I literally turned off every light in the room and just watched it through a few times in the dark. It's a worthwhile experience. I'd love to see these same effects applied to other videos of his, maybe Mazel Tov or Bloom. No matter what though, I'm glad this one exists. Thank you 💚
Hi Seamus, Wow I don't now what to say, that's very kind feeback!.. I know, here's a bonus treatment of Whisperlude 👉 ua-cam.com/video/RmgBp08gcw4/v-deo.html Enjoy, and thankyou!
Thankyou so much! It's all video processing - done with TMPEGEnc Video Mastering Works V7 software. The video is based on AtlasGenerists' sharp 4k remake ( ua-cam.com/video/2VPh8gXhXQE/v-deo.html ) of Pogo's original video ( ua-cam.com/video/vOreqez4v9Y/v-deo.html ) ...and timestretches it to 85% speed. Motionflow smoothing interpolates the framerate to 59fps. Some pixellation is applied to approximate VHS resolution, and frameblending was used to give the soft "phosphor burn-in" motion colour smearing effect. Finally some VHS static and scanlines are overlayed ( ua-cam.com/video/qIeOs3WdWvY/v-deo.html ).

A moment of silence for the individuals who still haven't found the name of this masterpiece of a song.
Esta versión da más a una sensación de nostalgia, más la buena buena música, excelente 🥲
