I recently purchased this helmet. Here's my review after three months of wearing. PRO: The helmet is comfortable. I recommend you purchase one size larger than the measurement chart suggests. The helmet has great aerodynamic contours and appealing style. The modular, visor, and sun shield have nice operations but over time requires being more forceful to latched. I rarely experience visor distortion or fogging. CONS: The sound quality SUCKS! Seriously...if you like listening to music.....don't bother purchasing this helmet. The wind noise seems to be louder than most and I'm not a fan of the Bluetooth modem and charge port cover.

I can't find information about the ilm dual sport dual visor helmet (non-modular) comes with the beak. The visor has two push pins on both sides what are they for? I thought they was for adding a heated visor kit or something. Which is what I need I ride all year around I love my ilm helmets but if I can't work together a heated visor to stop the fog I have to buy a new one.. Btw I tired all the tricks from using Gillette shaving gel to actual kind of expensive products that do not work. 😢

I have this helmet and haven't been able to do it. There is a way to get galaxy s voice to work with the helmet toggle wheel but if the phone is locked it creates problems. This assuming you have a galaxy phone. So if my phone is unlocked I can hold the toggle wheel down til I hear a short beep then I can say "hi galaxy, play next track" and it works but with the phone locked it won't access s voice.
I purchased a hawk bluetooth 500 helmet a few years ago and never got a charger, I believe it does not take a USB charger to charger to charge, looks more like a thin plug in. Any ideas?

@@Richard-mz7qu so...after about a year, I have upgraded. It's a damn fine helmet for the money ...but I wanted something with better sound. Other than the speakers being a bit tinny, and almost zero airflow, for the money it's not bad
He neglected to demonstrate or even mention the internal retractable sun visor. Besides safety, this is perhaps one of the best features of this helmet. Eliminates the need to wear sunglasses or have a tinted face shield. Also, when he flipped up the front of the helmet, he didn’t raise it all the way up. It retracts in a fully upwards position, not partially as illustrated here. Great helmet…poor review.
I bought this helmet, it’s crap don’t buy it save and get something better even if you just have to buy something from fb market place. The Bluetooth in this is horrible, the color they sent me wasn’t right and the piece that held in the face shield broke out. And all of this, for a helmet I just got for Christmas👎

Very helpful. I removed my scratched visor in several minutes. Initially I got out a Phillips screwdriver, totally unnecessary. Thanks for the video.

This is to limited in it's functions and I am sure that little battery is way to small for a weekend trip.
Then carry a separate batter pack to charge it while you stop for a beer and burger.

So when I power my helmet on it says powering on, then battery full. Then when I try to pair by holding down the button it just powers down

I don’t get it. Why not just buy a pair of wireless ear buds?
Because earbuds block out ambient sound, which is generally considered pretty important when riding a motorcycle.
You still need to hear. Hearing could safe you're life or prevent a accident.
