Agreed. I’m ashamed to say I’ve never really thought about trigger discipline like this. I see a shot and I take it. I will endeavour to think about it now though!
@@scruffydev923yes it’s a very difficult skill but important to at least understand. You can 100% get by just fine by shooting everything that moves in pubs though
Funny enough, half the positions you showed me, I have already know. But the spot on the first replay actually fascinated me. Although this is not something new for experienced players, this will help the normal players
Yeah I mean everyone can learn, but once you’re really good at the game you have to experiment with different plays to truly improve. Watching my videos probably won’t really help if you’re already super uni
just finding your channel and have been playing for 10 years now, a lot of the stuff youve said throughout these all I already have applied and known from my experience but you gave me some new insight on different ways to play and use the team up instead of be the hero 24/7 lol. cheers!
Another very informative and easy to digest video, My only wish was that I could make use of these spots but I always load 30 seconds late since I play on the switch. Keep up the great work man!
Yeah I only learned recently you could even play on switch. If you do end up changing devices I’d recommend getting really good on mobile since it’s required for competitive/season tournaments, although you can play on steam. That being said my gaming pc and my friends gaming pc both run the game worse than my iPad.
@@fabernackle I'm currently working on getting my PC up and running, I would play mobile now but my phone screen has too many cracks in it that it would be a pain to play lol
if wotb on switch is how i remember it, i would *HIGHLY* suggest switching device, as a person who stated playing on switch, the controls are just worse than in mobile or pc, very clunky with the joy stick aiming (basically always off target) and slow turning of the camera. I think i had 40% winrate until i switched to mobile and am now at 57% wr. If you don't have another device i would suggest maybe to reduce graphics to try get in games faster
@@ehannasir8464 I'm sitting at a 62% win rate ATM, I really don't mind playing on switch except for the fact that I always load into battles late, but I really do want to get my PC working so I can see pings, chat, and load in on time
Excellent. You delve into some subtle skills beyond simply spotting: trigger discipline, when to bail and always having that escape route to your next position. All stuff I'm working on. Great examples and commentary!
Going through the backlog of content you posted yesterday and appreciate you made this one short. Appreciate this and will definitely tune in for part 2. The strat on 03:15 is one I've learned from our team getting whipped in a recent tournament and good to see you pull it off as well as covering the escape route
Yeah I’ll make a few more of these. They’re just some ideas for people. It can be reversed and you can pre aim them too. I will also move onto mid game positions eventually
This is so useful, tysm. But could you do a vid on what to do when you are at a disadvantage? Like you are the only med/light on your team while the enemy team has 2. How to play those kinds of situations, and your though process in those. maybe positions too. tyy
Spotting is one of the most underrated skills that most beginners don't work on. Good job putting the spot light on it. See you on the battlefield! - TGP
For context: I’m a 40 year old 50 percenter, my preferred play style is positional, I learned the ropes playing TDs and heavies, but struggling with lights at times. These vids are great. Fatness left a void when it comes to a glimpse in situational thought process, and info like this takes it to a higher level of strategic insight. Sorely needed stuff for blitz community, IMO. PS I played against you a time or two and you’ve handed me my ass on a platter. 😂😂

@@fabernackle Hey bro, thanks for reading my comment! Can't speak for others, but generally speaking, I have a hard time not overcommitting in a light. For example, trying to create cross-fires, I generally try to use light tank's mobility and keep moving around the map to find a position to spot and cross fire. My question is, when playing a lite tank in this way, what are some key points to look for to understand when I can be more aggressive or when I need to sit tight for a sec. When flanking, I try not to push red spawn unless I have support, but too often I find myself getting yolo'ed when completing the flank. I think I might be out of sync with what my team is doing, so I could use some pointers there. Username: CallMe_Big_Boppa. lol lame, I know.
@@AHTOXA11 no problem, I try to read them all. It’s important to nail down at what point in the battle this happens, this will help you. For example, you could be overcommitting to your starting position, or you could be losing track of the enemies in the mid game and getting out flanked or pushed at the end game. Rules of thumb are to know where everyone is at, and what their easiest reaction to you showing up is. For example, can they easily push you? That leads to another rule, always have an escape route. If they can push you before you can leave, chances are they will. You want to conserve your hp. If your team isn’t moving, you can’t drive all the way to the other side of the map. You want to be the furthest crossfire, creating the most map control, but you either need to have support you can trust, or the ability to safely leave. It really breaks down to those last two things, and how you react to every changing situation. Remember the enemy doesn’t stay still. If you don’t have discord you should get it because I can send you screenshots or watch your gameplay and give you individual pointers
I’m not going to do that simply because they all are good for their own purpose. If you have specific questions on which ones I recommend for each purpose I’d be happy to point you in the right direction.
Absolutely. It reduces your view range but you will outspot lights with superior view range because the camo is so good. Check out my t-100 video I talk about it more there
I like how you showed the escape routes and how important trigger discipline is in those positions
Yes knowing when to fire is important and takes a lot of practice. Still not 100% at it myself

you prefer camouflage net or improved optics on light tanks?
Short answer is it depends on the tank, t100 is camo net all day. The others I like optics. It’s based on the percentages you gain
Hey man. Can you make a video about which tier X tanks are strong?
I’m not going to do that simply because they all are good for their own purpose. If you have specific questions on which ones I recommend for each purpose I’d be happy to point you in the right direction.
Very good helpful video. Thank you
No problem
1:15 bro really said “nuh uh” 💀💀💀
Bro told me to “spot” and the. Yolod their spawn. That was my fault for not spotting 👍👍
I noticed you run camo net on your 100lt, is that something you always use?

Thanks

Funny shit is no avg wotb player knows how to count to 10 😂😂😂 atleast my teammates don't 😂😂
Yeah then you shoot them with the t100 and make them count to 20… game over they’re never going unspotted before they move😂😂
Only way is to load the same cheating mods as your opponents.
