This is the fourth and FINAL episode of our Gibb River Road adventure in the remote Kimberley region of Western Australia. If you missed the first three episodes in the series, you can catch up on those here:

We pick up where we left off in the last episode at the best free camp on The Gibb River Road. We then make our way onto Ellenbrae Station where we enjoy all the luxuries from a station stay, including their very famous scones! The road then turns pretty bad as we drive the final stretch of dirt and across the Pentecost River. We have a night of free camping and croc spotting before heading to the stunning El Questro Station. It’s here where we spend our last few days on the Gibb, visiting El Questro Gorge, Zebedee Springs, Pigeon Hole Lookout and Emma Gorge. We part ways with our mates @justvanningit and finish out the episode with another river crossing at Ivanhoe. And that wraps up our time in Western Australia after a magic seven and a half months. We’ll be back to WA next year but for our next adventure; bring on the NT!

I hit the road for 12 days in early September. First Purnululu and later the Gibb. What a great area to travel through. I had amazing experiences. I like the things I've done. I only regret I had so little time.

Love your videos, and the corrugations are the worst no matter what road, we did the Cape 7 years ago and PDR was discusting, havnt done the Gibb.
One small pet dislike is its a torch not a flashlight, I'm an older Aussie and was bought up with torch, the internet came along and all of a sudden bonnet became hood, torch became flashlight, carpark became parking lot.
It's been great watching you on your WA adventures I have seen every episode guys can't wait for your next chapter cheers legends ☺️

Which ever one does the camera work, you took some brilliant shots/views; even though the water levels were low during your trip, I think you captured the essence of the Kimberley. Just another great video. Snorkel socks aren't recommended with paper air filters unless you change/clean them regularly. A flannel with olive oil covering the snorkel intake will do the same thing as a sock.

Yeah that sock had 3 cleans over the course of the Gibb, I have trialed with and without. Fuel economy no different for us but a whole lot less larger dust particles make it through to the airbox.

my present set of tyres the newest ones have done120,000klms and the other two are 140,000klms still have a min of 6mm tread left
That's great John! For us the constant towing, lower pressures and harsh roads we encounter means your doing well to get over 50000km! Its all worth it though for the experiences !
Great trip! Thanks for sharing so much of this adventure. I know you had a few set backs, but it seems like you had a dream run. Will there be a Gibb Dos and Dont's? You are fortunate you seem to have timed it perfectly. Apart from the obvious heat, was it? What time of year was it? Beautiful footage!

Yeah at 15 bucks a piece, we won’t be needing one for quite a while so rather just get a new clean one when we need it 👍🏼
Hi guys, we have a question for you we are heading up the coast of WA from Adelaide next year in May and are getting a bit stressed about what to book, we have watched all your episodes but still getting confused. Everyone says don't book too much but we would like to only book the must-do places could you answer give us the best places to book going up the western Australian coast from May to July we are then going around to do the gib. We love to only do a few caravan parks and mostly stay at National parks or free camps. We are going to do the Horizontal falls for an overnighter and are not sure if we should do it from Derby or Broom this will mean leaving our van and car? Do you have any suggestions for us? I know you haven't done this but maybe know more than us. Sorry this is so long we have too many questions. Love your way of traveling and has go us very excited.
That's awesome guys!! Our advice, just book the Ningaloo coast, we found everywhere else required just a few weeks notice for bookings. Broome too requires a booking if you want to stay in one of the nice parks there. I would do horizontal falls from Broome, and just leave your setup in the CV park.
