This is great, but some 2nd attributes can't be reoptimized if they roll less than max stat. I tried rolling Damage to Targets Out of Cover on my Capacitor which natively comes with Damage to Armor with a potential max stat of 12% which mine had. It rerolled with 10% Damage to Armor and could not be optimized since our library only allows up to 6%. There should be exceptions to this sort of thing for named and exotic items.
I think the Capacitor is the exception in this case, as I believe it's always been bugged for it to have DTA in the 2nd slot as opposed to the standard AR intrinsic Health Damage. Maybe they'll reorient the slots in the future to avoid the new issue
Just had this problem yesterday. I rerolled my maxed out Scorpio for dmg to targets out of cover and optimized wpn dmg but said I did not have enough resources to optimize anything else but of course does not tell you WHAT resources like it did before. I had at least 5x more of everything than I needed to fully optimize. I had no problem fully optimizing all 3 exotic attributes before the update so they fk'd somehting up I think. It simply would not be a legit Division update without fixing one thing while breaking somehting else in the process :)
I just checked and I have $950K+ 5000+ for each resource, 500+ SHD Calibration, 500+ Field recon, 850+ shotgun scrap and apparently that is not enough to optimize from 11% to 12% dmg to armor on my Scorpio. Somehting is def broken.
nice one bro, got dttoc on both the st elmos and oreo now, was hesitant to reconfigure before this video, as didn't wanna lose my precious oreo! - next stop, scorpio and capacitor! ;)
Thanks for this video mate. Probably saved me from losing my near god roll chameleon. Was hoping to roll the 3rd slot for something better than mad size but not worth if it could re-roll the other stats lower. Very very helpful thank you.
@RogueGold I Re-Rolled my Capacitor to DTTOC the problem was the 2nd attribute was DTA, and the max for that on the Capacitor is 12% and I got 11%, but now I can not optimize it because normally the Max DTA on AR is 6% 😂
It took me 18 tries to get Damage to targets out of cover on my expertise level 11 Scorpio!! Edit: AND then it cost me an arm and both legs to max out the stats!
Also be aware about Capacitor. It has armor dmg (12% max) as a second stat (instead of health dmg) which you CAN't optimize. So if you reroll Capacitor to let's say 15 - 8 - 10 DTOC you won't be able to optimize damage to armor to 12 because you don't have 12% damage to armour in your library (for AR's)
Let's say (using the example you used in the video) what would you re-roll the last perk to on the chameleon to? Also I know you was trying to get 'damage to targets out of cover' is that because it's the best in slot, or just something you was after?
Currently (and for a long time) Damage to Targets Out of Cover has been the best, since it's what's considered an "Amplified" damage source, and you can get it at a 10% value. Statistically that just outclasses any other options. The Devs have noted the imbalance here though, and might make changes in the future 👍
I actually completely misunderstood this from the previous, I thought you were going to recalibrate the 3rd stat. So I guess you cant fix the 2nd stat on the Capacitor yet then?
@markhettenbach3141 To my knowledge the Capacitor is a special circumstance, since I believe its stats have always been misaligned, given Health Damage is intended to be the intrinsic stat on every AR in that second slot. Not sure what they might do with it moving forward
