Life sales is definitely hard work. Overrides is not a scam. You are fully responsible as an agency owner if agent can't pay back their commission not just override. You take the good but you definitely take the bad. If people think you can work this business 25-30 hours a week and make significant money, they'll be disappointed. You should definitely come into the business to eventually go full time. (45+ hours a week min for first year when full time, MINIMUM) You can start part time but with intention to go full time very soon.

@@kristenalmonte1110 definitely scary if you don’t know. Getting a charge back is not a good feeling but it is part of the business. Most recruiters are honest that it’s not easy. ALL life insurance companies have a charge back policy. Some recruiters say when you join them there are no charge backs, not true. And ‘free leads’ don’t exist. You pay on the front end or you get a reduced commission. Selling life insurance is very hard to do part time in the long term. Imagine working your regular job and doing this for another 20-30 hours a week, that is HARD. Better to focus being a personal producer full time for at least a year then think about recruiting. My personal opinion.
