I have a dear friend who has an amazing relationship with every horse she rides . She loves jumping and always performs beautifully. Always helping other riders any way she can. She started on my daughter’s Shetland pony, Misty, 11h. When she outgrew the pony she would come and beg “can I ride Misty?” I said Lisa, you’re too big.” She’d say “I’ll hold my feet up.” She now has a beautiful daughter who rides with her. My friend’s name is Lisa Plummer Smith, and like you, she is lovely, athletic, and an amazing horsewoman. Old enough now to have had many wonderful horses, she will pass this passion on to many horse lovers. Bless you and your family.
I remember playing Pippa Funnels PlayStation game when I was 7/8 years old! I’m now 24.. it’s so nice seeing her still competing and doing so well. Can’t wait to see you eventually take on 5* events!
Great vlog! The good riders make it look so easy, and from a distance the jumps don't look too bad... although, I walked up to a trakhener used at 1m level this summer and thought it was massive (and I can jump 1m showjumps no problem). I also have to say, I'm team Scott, camping sucks!
100% this will be you one day! Chase those dreams! Lovely to see girl power at the top of eventing will never stop fan girling over pippa funnel! Hoping I’ll bump into you both one day 🤞🏻xx
That tent is BADA**!!! I would camp in that thing, haha! It must be so fun to just be a spectator for once, to enjoy everything without the pressure of competing! Looks like it was immense fun, so glad you brought us all along, haha! And aww, all your fans!! I wish I could meet you, too bad I am never in the UK, if you ever do an event near Tryon, NC or Aiken, SC in the States I will absolutely have to come out and support you!
Wow, I’d love to see you achieve your dream of jumping 5*. Of course you can do it, maybe on a younger horse than the lovely, but slightly aging Zebedee
You did so well with the jump you fell at. I thought the 4* were something but this is just out of this world. These athletes (both horses and riders) were amazing. Thanks for taking us along :). I don’t do eventing (I’m an ex race horse girl who now ride dressage), so I was wondering about the white « paste » some of the horses have on their legs (what is it and what is it for). Thanks :)
Do you know Ingrid Klimpke? I'm pretty sure you do. She makes it look so easy. And she's a freaking good rider. Doesn't matter if dressage or crosscontry. And seeing the high jumper reminds me of the thing they did back the days. Going higher and higher...
Poor Scott i can sympathise with him Not a great tent fan. It seems strange watching you walk when usually you are looking down from the horses Those fences look amazing Those horses looked fantastic makes home jumps like like sticks
@@ashleyharrisoneventing Eventing is a major sport here. Heaps of people do it. We also have Adelaide International Horse Trials. Only 5* in the southern hemisphere. But we don't have Badminton and Burghley. Nor do we have team chasing and the hunting scene here is very small. Add in fact that I am a lifelong Anglophile and of course I would live my life over in the UK.
Guys we have MERCH!!! 😍😍 Check it out below! I am so excited!!

It’s called event grease and can help a horse slide slightly if it makes contact with a fixed xc fence
@@tamfella thank you :)
🥰🥰
I’m so excited
👏👏👍😊
Me: spotted Ashley and Chris in elphick event ponies bicton vlog

That’s the Puissance - they will do that at The London International Show in December 😊😊
Seeing those big jumps makes me feel a bit sick, I hope the horses go home sound and healthy
They love to jump them though 👍👍😊
Awesome video, thanks Ashley and Scott. I’m with you Scott, the only way to camp is five star lol (-: Marion
🤣🤣👍😊
You are such an amazing rider 😍

👍👍🤣😊
The rider that jumped the fence you fell at was a Kiwi rider from NZ, his name is Tim Price. He makes x-country look easy!!
He certainly does 👍👍😊
@@ashleyharrisoneventing His Wife Jonelle is also an amazing rider and is the fastest Female rider on the x-country.
Hate camping 🏕️ too. Enjoyed this video 👍 If I could live my life over, would be eventing in the UK and not wishful thinking in Australia.
👍👍do they not do it in Australia? 😊

Thanks 🙏🤣🤣👍😊
That will be you one day. Great channel thanks
Thanks 🙏👍👍😊
Hey I have a show coming up and I'm jumping quite big and haven't practised the height any tips
It’s always better to be jumping bigger in training than you do at a show👍😊
Love your vlogs xx will you be at hoys x
Thanks 🙏 😊
I went down to Bicton 5 star and I must of not saw you
😥😥
Nice
Thanks 🙏😊
Early

привет
What happens after 5*?
That’s the top level 😊
why was there no 5* for 2 years?
Covid 😢
Scott looks like he could be your son. How much older are you?
🤣🤣3 months younger
Love your vlogs. Before I found you I used to watch 2 younger riders, but it was all posing and hair arranging - boring!
Thanks 🙏 glad you like them 👍👍😊
