Dear Sam, U should go to the Eloise Asylum, in Detroit Michigan, its 15 minutes away from Downtown Detroit, the building is said to be haunted by the ghost of its former patients, people have reported seeing the ghostly patients stand in the broken windows, originally was a farm and poor house but expanded into the asylum. At its peak Eloise Asylum was home to 12000 patients and there was an onsite bakery, slaughterhouse, cannery, greenhouse and tobacco field. There are some unsubstantiated rumours that before the buildings were demolished in the 1980s there were jars of human body part and some very strange photographs of patients found. However, this could be just urban legend - although it did become the basis for a horror movie based on the hospital! Needless to say, there are plenty of reports of people visiting and having paranormal experiences including hearing disembodied moans, scream and sobs, seeing shadows and even an apparition of a man if fairly modern clothing sitting on the main staircase! my mom lived in Canada Ontario and when she was little, she went to that waterpark with her friends. she said it was probably abandoned because of how old the slides were, they were really unsafe.

My home country is pretty awesome, let me tell you a story:
So me and my older sister(20) one of my friends who’s a boy (13) let’s call him Cameron, and one of my sister friends who’s also a boy (21) let’s call him Damion.
So Cameron, Damion my sister and I, decided to go into an abandon building that’s heavily guarded since a lot of people have got serious injuries or a concussion, I don’t remember exactly in which part of Canada it was though. Anyways we got in the building and Cameron and Damion were acting like Jackasses and being idiots. By yelling and stomping on wood and making a lot of noise. There wasn’t much graffiti but it is haunted.
You see the building use to be an orphanage back in the early 90’s, and then it changed into a asylum that was used for mental kids. But in both uses they beat, starved and tortured he kids. In that building there was reported around 30 or 20 deaths from ‘natural causes’ but the kids were beat to death or starved to death. But the actual amounts of deaths was around 200 or 100, once learned of the actual amount and the abuse going on they shut it down.
So this building is haunted. Very haunted!
But anyways while Damion and Cameron were joking around I got very light headed and threw up. And my sister ended up getting a giant bruise like a pre-teens boys hand on her leg. Like someone or something tries to grab her leg and trip her, which would of caused her to bang her head on a metal railing. Cameron and Damion got concerned and said we should probably get out of here. I agreed and was about to walk out when I was jerked back and felt something suffocating me! In which I put my hands around my neck and tried to stop the force, my sister checked and saw to large bruises. She got worried and we bolted out. A cop saw us and started chasing after us, we fled to a house nearby and hid in there opened garage. A woman saw us and saw our direction we came from and smirked. She saw the police officer and we thought she was going to rat us out. When she made a movement with her hand and her eyes flashed to a door my sister got her message and she carefully walked towards it and opened it up and we snuck in, now this woman we knew since she turned out to be my Cameron’s teacher, now Cameron goes to a different school then me so I did not know her. Once the officer left the woman sighed and said
“Geez, 5th time i saves your ass Cameron, how many kids am I going to have to save from getting arrested before they learn there lesson, I’ll walk you guys home but first tell me why that officer was chasing after you”
We told her the whole story and her eyes widened
“Now you can explore any abandon building and I’ll save your asses, but keep out of that building. My daughter when in there and she experienced something way worse, us Canadians will stick up for each other but I’m telling you this. My daughter came out and she has not been able to sleep soundly since, next time you go in there I will tell that officer to make you guys learn your lesson”
Anyways she walked us home that day and let me tell you,
We are still exploring abandon and haunted buildings and even towns. Our group is into that paranormal stuff. But we have not even DARED go Into that building...
We don’t want to die, cause we also learned that’s how the woman’s brother died. His feet got pulled out from under him and he hit his head. It was the same place my sister was standing. And he had the same bruise in the same place..
I know long comment and not really related to the video. But it’s true, I’m not saying the place we explored or where it was, I don’t really remember anyways.
Believe me or not, it was a real experience I had with my sister and friends.
It’s been about 3 years since that day and let me just say, I’m still got some anxiety from it. But it was a thrilling and somewhat fun adventure. And that sometimes we bring that woman, let’s call her Alice. We bring Alice with us. She’s actually around that age of my sister. She’s about 24 or 25, and it’s tons of fun.
She actually is taking us on a trip to Mexico this summer and we’re going to explore some of its most haunted places! Damion, Cameron my sister, my brother, Alice and I are going to have so much fun. Now my brother just recently started exploring with us..uh..wish us luck XD
like i said believe me or not, this is tons of fun and it’s true!!

Dear sam and colby,
I found a few places that I think you should visit while you are in Texas for your tour. The first one is called the Sam Houston Memorial Museum. Sam Houston was an important man in the city of Houston, Texas. In the Sam Houston Memorial Museum, you will find an assorted of memorabilia from his life. What people visiting the museum, or even passing by the outside of the building, also find are more supernatural in nature. People have heard footsteps that cannot be explained and have seen footprints in the house. Other assorted sounds are heard in and around the museum that come from unexplained sources. In Sam Houston’s law office things have been known to fall off his desk without any provocation from living beings.
The second one is Wichita Street There is nothing quite like the home located at 2309 Wichita Street. The former owner of the home was said to be a retired VA nurse. Charles Fondow was also known for enjoying home improvement projects as he was an avid do-it-yourselfer. Fondow worked on the improvements on the house for roughly 31 years without completing the home. The home features 2 turrets, an onion dome, a glass atrium, multiple decks, and the backyard even features an additional apartment. Since the former owner’s passing people have started knocking and strange noises can be coming from the house. Furthermore, other people, who have passed by the home state they have seen the figure of someone wandering around the property.
And the last place is called the Spaghetti Warehouse. When visiting downtown Houston you will come across many different restaurants, among them is one of the most haunted places in Houston, the Spaghetti Warehouse. With a name like the Spaghetti Warehouse, one would think this building, dating back to the early 1900s, was little more than a neat looking family restaurant. There may be some truth to that, however; this building was not always the Spaghetti Warehouse it is today. The building also served as a produce store, a pharmacy or both. The ghosts that are believed to haunt the second floor of the restaurant today both suffered horrible fates. One man is said to have died when you fell down a broken elevator shaft. Another ghost, who is believed to have appeared to a young girl, had an odd looking bent neck. According to stories, she died when falling down stairs in the building.

The only flaw is the spaghetti warehouse closed after Harvey, so they can't go there. There's also a lot of haunted places in Galveston too. There's some closed and abandoned buildings in Pasadena, TX, but one of the popular ones is full of asbestos.
