    please do a boxing style analysis video about sonny liston. He arguably had the best jab ever, it would be very interesting to learn his style in detail.

    I’ve been practicing the first one on the bag. I sparred for first time on Monday and managed to land it a few times. I’m gonna practice it a bit more before moving onto the next one

      @@myboxingcoachI was buzzing when it landed. Then I landed it another 2 times then my opponent got wise to it and stepped back the same time as I did. I’ll have to hop further forward next time

    Thanks for the video, coach!! Quick question: A lot of boxing coaches are VERY ADAMANT about exhaling sharply when throwing punches but it doesn't appear that you're doing that. In your opinion, is it actually necessary? Just curious. Thanks in advance!

    • @chikaokolo4929
      @chikaokolo4929 Рік тому +1

      Yes. People naturally hold their breath when they punch. Forcing yourself to breath out "shh, shh" makes you breath and exhale with each punch. Plus, it activates your muscle fibers by sending oxygen through your body. The louder, harsher "ahh, ahh" is when you're putting power in your shots. Mix it up, relax, and watch people who are better than you, and do the same.
