yeah so so good , made me long for my old man. Gido you are beyond blessed to have that experience. My fathers last request to me was to take him fishing one last time, broke my heart because he was gravely ill and I could not even physically touch him,he passed 5 days after. How I wish I could have granted that request..

You're living my dream, it sucks being a stay at home mum and being needed to much at home with little to no girl friends who enjoy the same things. I'd love a weekend or a week with a friend to do this with!
Hey Gido; wonderful experience for you both to share! You give what most Lack; and you cannot buy that Anywhere, for any Price $$$, which is Time Together Itself! Sounds like he was a very special Teacher in your life, &deserves to enjoy his finally, after working towards a better life for his children! (As i), At least you have footage to remeniss! Your dad is very Strong and wise to have taught you so much! I say do it all till ya Die Trying! Seek all you want, do everything you can, and have some FUN STUFF, as you go along! My Children are in their 40's , i have 1 bro that's dying right now, and I have no-one left in the family! No more Elders either! My kids/Grandchildren live in other States, I can't travel to! 1 older Son semi-near-but works hard, and I brought them up alone! Its hard to be mom & dad, but I taught my children to be self-sufficient, confident, loving, and the importance of our Environments! Happy to say that I succeeded! So very special/Refreshing to watch this, as most never, ever get to experience that particular Bond in their entire lives! Evidently Dad taught you well, it Truly Shows on You! GBU.,SM.,NZ., ✌🙂👍😎🙏🤗

Gido, your channel is my favourite watch at the moment. I've watched all your videos since discovering you about 3 months ago. I only recently moved to Perth from Melbourne in January this year so get massively inspired to fish watching you but it makes me sick how many fish you catch vs how many I catch, which is stuff all!😂 keep 'Em rolling mate. Really loving this series of you adventuring with your dad. Would love to do this with mine, but he lives in QLD.
I'm hanging for our little trip south in November so I can try and catch some fish instead of just feeding the blowies all the time here in Perth.......

I have watched your videos for several years but I think this was my favorite. I love the way you interact with your dad and the fishing was the type I can most relate to.
Gido those tube baits you used we have them here in California. When using them you pop it and they flicker. 🤙🏽
The technique is to go between the 1st and second pectoral fins, up towards the head, flip the knife around and come down the spine to the tail. STOP before the tail, flip the fillet over so its tail to tail with the carcass, slide the knife along the skin untill there is enough room to get a thumb and forefinger grip on the flesh, then at first gently, tear the flesh away from the skin and leave the lateral bones behind. Voila a boneless skinless fillet in about 1 minute. Easiest fish in the world in that regard. Then in a 'dish in dish' ice bath, make a half and half plain flour corn flour batter using soda water and fry them deep or shallow...presto...the best fish popcorn you've ever had. Uncle Roger would not like your rice cooking...ayaaah!

The sailing... so rad. You were hauling Ass! Good times! I got me a Kayak Sail kit and it is cool! I put it on a Old Town Loon tandem and she moves in light winds so far. Tomorrow will be my forth time sailing her. Just for kicks check out falcon sails. No promoting them, just cool to see. Anywho, thanks for sharing your adventures. ⛵⛵🎣🎣

Ya old man would fit right in at banko banko lombok with his jukung outrigger and jar of chillies but he might need a 15 hp enduro running on kerosene with the current in the straights 😂we have a 2hp Honda 4stroke on our windrider 17 trimaran it's great and pushes it along at 6knots on half throttle 10knots full 🍻
